Ok. So, I have this melee FO see? And I want a good Rati for it.

Here is the Rati I have:
DEF:5
POW:100
DEX:70
MIND:25

And I'm in the middle of raising another. Are there any improvements that could be made? I'm not sure.

(Ketchup and Ian, help with your Rati ownage! :3)

depends on what force it is.

The mind could probably be averted to dex or power, seeing as teh forces have enough mst without mag stuff for melee.

Mind for a Melee FO bad. No mind = more power. Besides FO's have enough of that already. Besides you'll most likely be removing slot items and replacing them. And j/z are your best friends.

Melee FOrces:
5/125/70/0

Tech FOrces:
50/0/0/150

The first is very easy to raise, and the second take seven longer, but is great stats for a pure caster.


As said before, MIND for a meelee person is useless, as you have enough MST to do what you have to anyway (Resta, S/D/J/Z). You need a very high DEX to hit things, especially since you get a very slow ATA gain.

The 125 POW lets you use a Double Saber from level one if you want to. It also adds a very nice chunck of dmagae at lower level areas.

Lol. I got the idea of making a pure def mag. But I caved after I found that a FOmar's def tops at 469? His magic would top at 1340 and well I wanted to be near invincible with def. But yeah. *coughs* Sucks....

Actually the FOmar maxes at 470,the last time I checked. And you can be near-invincible,all you need is over 1200 HP and Level 30 Deban.

My FOmar is invincible, and he only has 970 HP =3

Depending on your current level, you should tweek the dex for your mag. If your a lower level and you figure you'll make a new mag later, then i would suggest less dex and more power. Vise versa that if your a higher level, then you should of course do with some more dex so you can hit stuff easier. perhaps some god/arms units would be nice too to help.

Perhaps even some def. Some def is nice only because if your going melee then you will get hit often and it would be nice to drown that out if you can.

MIND is useless for a melee FOrce Mag. They have enough MST as it is to do what they need to with techs, and shouldn't need any from their Mag.
