I don't think this is in the right forum, and there is no 'Other' option.

ok, there needs to be an "other" or "all", not everyone likes just one genre

I agree, it's not diverse enough. Broaden your horizons, young grasshopper.

However, I still voted. If it's been labeled rock, chances are I will like it to some degree, old, new, it's all good, except some death metal type stuff doesn't appeal to me. Rob Zombie is about as demonic as it goes on my stereo. And I find some pop-punk and bubblegum rock type stuff is annoying, but it depends.

All, I guess. I just listen to music on the radio or something and write down the ones I like and get it. I probably like Rock or Oldies the most. In fact, I am listening to an oldy: Bon Jovi.

I listen to everything... from Kill Switch Engage to DJ Mystik to Yanni.... but I listen more to dance and techno.... yeah yeah, make fun of me all you want.... but I've been listening Korean-pop music the longest... Mostly Boa, Hyolee, Moon Hee Jun and Baby VOX...

Progressive rock is usually my favorite, and it's what I play, but it all depends on the mood I'm in. I listen to everything, but some genres a lot less than others.

You forgot to list "blue grass" and "jazz-fushion". Not to mention; "Boy-scout-core", "christian-death-metal", "nu-core", "bubble-gum-pop", "grindcore", deathcore", "sludgecore", "flamenco", "fiesta", folk", "folk-rock", "polka", "polka-core", "George Bush-core", "John Kerry-core", "I'mcryingaboutthegirlIjustwavedatinthelocalshoppin gmallandshedidn'tevenacknowledgeme-core".

You, will truly, burn at the stake my fellow inhabitant of planet Earth.

Darn the man that forgets the meta-genres of broad classification(destruction).
