What's your favorite Gundam??? No not which Gundam Anime series but the mech's themself.... Enemies or goodies... some haven't seen it yet, but mine is the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam... what's yours???

I would have to say my fave so far is the Launcher Gundam from Gundam Seed it has a gun and sword mode and is the first one I've seen that used a real blade not a heat rod or anything of the like

The Gundam that makes all Gundams tremble before it's mighty power.

The RX-78-2 Wing Gundam, also known as Wing Gundam *not the one you are thinking of*, it is also called XXXG-01WE Wing Gundam.

It pretty much resembles the Wing Zero Custom with different arm guards, chest plates, internal components, but it has mechanical looking wings instead of bird like wings. And it also has a shield and a supposedly more powerful type buster rifle.

Two websites that show the figure *yes figure* it is just a prototype...I don't think it has been released in an anime...yet.

It was made by Katoki Hajime *this is also the first designer produced MASTER GRADE model kit/action figure {it has been made into both forms...a figure and a model kit}* and is most formally known as "Wing Gundam Ver.Ka", but has also been labeled the "RX-78-2 Wing Gundam", as well as the "XXXG-01WE Wing Gundam".

Actually, they ARE the same suit. The one you're showing is simply the Katoki redesign for Endless Waltz. If you look at the specs (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/w/xxxg-01w.htm) you'll see that it's the exact same mobile suit. That link allows you to click and compare the two different designs.

All the suits were redesigned for Endless Waltz. Each one of them has a different look before and after their upgrades, but they're still the same suits as from the show.

Actually, come to think of it, I think the redesigns may have been used in a manga as well, but I can't remember if that was the case or not.

(If only I could find Burke's mecha profiles... it was just like the site I posted, but they had a nice paragraph explaining that the variations were in actuality the exact same suit with cosmetic differences. Oh well.)

The suit still owns anything out there...Sorry to say but it is the best looking Gundam I have ever seen and I am a die-hard gundam fan...*yes I am one of those types of ppl that buy the model kits and sit there and paint every little detail after I have put them together*. I actually sold an alternate color sequenced Wing Zero *black and yellow and purple...If I seem to recall* for about $35 bucks. RX-78-2 is Gundam. It simply CANNOT be anything else.
All the timeline has their own mech coding, and RX-series only exist in the Universal Century.

That one aint a Wing Zero Custom, its just Wing Gundam. All the original Gundams were redesigned for some flashy artwork after Endless Waltz, and that version of the Wing Gundam ended up being really popular. There actually making a Perfect Grade model kit of it right now and it is look very nice. If i had the money for it i would buy it.

The Tallgeese III's Mega Cannon (I think that's what it's called) has much more power (ammunition) available and is at least as powerful as the Buster Rifle. Not only that, but it doesn't destroy the TG.

About the wing zero custom, one on my list of fav gundams, in the Endless WAltz movie, where the hell did he the buster rifle from. THe only time its seen is at the end....Where did Heero hide such a gigantic weapon?

Secretly the Wing Zero has giant pockets on the side of its legs to hold its wallet, keys and the Twin Buster Canon. You miss the bit off screen where he rummages through said pockets and produces the canon.


To tell the truth, if the Wing Zero was to have the canon anywhere i would say it should have been placed on its back, just inbetween its wings. An oppatunity missed there Sunrise Studios.

not to be nit picky, but the tallgeese i a moble suit, not a gundam. its model number, OZ-00MS, has nothing to do with a gundam. not that doesnt take away fromits greatness, as a matter a fact, its one of my favorite MS, the Tallgeese 3 and a Dom are so friggen sweat. but as for gundams, i vote for Deathscythe Hell and its custom variant. no other gundams have made me say, "dam that was so cool". except for Altron, on occasion, and that one sceen in Seed where Strike takes off Duals are with his beam cannon.
