i would recommend Aura Field but the love heart has a decent special

Aura Field, no contest. Unless the heart's special is different online, you have to be INSIDE a char of the opposite sex for the special to work. It sucks, plus that heart key would be better used on a magical piece.

Aura Field is technically better, but I recommend the Love Heart simply because it looks better.

Aura Field is considerably better...but can't be used by any Droids, and from what I've seen/heard, is ugly.

but anyway, the aura field is the way to go stat wise, though if you have both you could always use the love heart until you character reaches level 152 to use the a-field

and stats on aura field and all found armors vary greatly. people who cite this sites armor stats for caomparison should be dragged behind a car.

A little boost of DFP from the Love Heart wouldn't make a major difference, and you'll have to depend on the male character(s) to be with you sticking like glue for the minor special of it to work.

You can look at it this way: use Aura Field if you want to look spiffy and perhaps a badass (your character with the right colors would look good with it). Use a Love Heart if you want a style of looking lovely and spreading the love. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Does style on your character matters to you? It does to me.

In the Aura Field vs Love Heart argument, The only time you use Love heart is when you don't have or can't use Aura Field.

Or if you think Aura Field is the most god-awful looking thing in PSO. Seriously, I would use a Guard Wave to L200 before I'd use one of those. I hate blue, especially that colour of blue, most of my characters wear red, so it clashes horrible, and the flaming crotch effect is disgusting. I have only seen ONE character that looked decent with an Aura Field. It was a min-height FOmar with the second row blue costume, and it actually matched instead of clashing horribly. XP

Go with Love Heart, it's less tacky. XP

Or you could just use a GW or Lum, cause they're both better/ have the possibility to be better (dpends on the stats you find) than LH anyway, plus they have animations.

yupp. as stated above, aura field can be the best armor statwise. its perfect for a newman, statwise. its ugly and annoying like hell after a few hours of wearing it.

i'd go with a decent lum field anyday, or even with a DF field which pulses only every few seconds.

anyway, best choice for a bot is the lum field (a good statwise) its not only covered by the natural HP regene, but its also one of the bestlooking armor there is (at least imho).

love heart is nice, but needs some guychars around. the boost is really neat but the range requires armlength distance.

Your main char is a robot? If it's the character that you are using this armor on is it a female? That's the only way to use the love heart, is with a female character, and you can't even use the arua field if it is a robot.

But really, after a while the defense stats don't mean a thing, you are still going to get hit, and you are still going to get hurt. So just choose which one you think looks the best. My choice would be the love heart, it kind of sneaks up on other players.
