Devil/Technique drop rate?

Has anyone ever tried to get a devil/tech from a vhard red slime (redria id) before?

I had a look on ign faqs and found the drop rate to be 87.5% (the same for all the units I have searched for in vhard). My problem is that I have killed 4 red slimes and still not found any rare. I have never had any problem with finding units in vhard before. In fact, I had a 100% record up until now.

God/Arm (vhard hildeblue skyly) 2 out of 2 attempts
God/Hp (vhard nar lily skyly) 2 out of 2 attempts
God/Body (vhard nar lily redria) 2 out of 2 attempts
God/Mind (vhard nar lily pinkal) 3 out of 3 attempts

Is it possible that maybe they got the drop rate wrong for this unit, or am I just extremely unlucky? It really sucks too because I have to split them with an untekked partisan as my only redria character is a HUcast.

Also: Note that in the item database the description for the Hunter and Force wall have been altered and now read "NOT AVAILABLE ON EP 1 AND 2 YET". I wonder if they are planning to release them soon. Here's hoping they aren't as horribly unbalanced as they were on dc. I'm guessing they must be changing the Ranger wall and that's why it hasn't been updated. 1) it's your luck.

2) the Ranger Wall still adds 20 ATA over char's max limit.

3) I find it easier to hunt units from non rare monsters in Very Hard (Paralysis in Redria, etc.)

And I'm too lazy to check the database, but it's Oran VH Red Slime that drops Devil/Battle I think, not Redria.

I got my only Devil/Technique from a Redria Pouilly that I found in a VHard Caves Run. I am 1/1 with that drop, and I have never had an 87.5% chance not drop.

Jeezit. Some Ep2 prizes of C-Mode are pretty good compare to Ep1 prizes. But, duh, I should've known that.

You are just really unlucky. The drop Rate is correct.

On a side note: Of course the Ep2 C-mode items are better, ep2 c-mode is more difficult.

Completely random thought--since it's a red slime that's being piped, possibly some of those failures are due to the pre-killed blue glitch? We all know 1/4096 isn't an impossibility (that's the odds of no 87.5% chance in 4 kills), but that would change the odds somewhat...

Ep2 C-mode C Rank prizes are Hunter Field, Ranger Field and Force Field, which badly suck, but can be equipped at Lv 28.

Hunter/Ranger/Force Walls are not released yet, and only Ranger Wall is good of the three.

And Ep2 S-Ranks are not better than Ep1 ones, far from it actually, most Ep2 S-Rank prizes suck, no good HU weapon, for instance.
