GC: How did you start off when you first played

When I first started my first game of PSO, that is the day I will never forget. Heh, we started of by slashing once and running away and thus doing this prosses over again. And I gave my mag mind power when I was a HUcast. So how did yall start of your first game? -_-

I here what you mean. When we found out how to do the famous "3-hit-combo" we were so happy on that day but once we got to the Dragon, he was no joke...>_<

When we got to the mines for the first time...we got beat up as usual. Taking almost all my health and I was wearing a yellow suit.

I was a reckless HUmar. Go in attacking with my saber, not worrying about my health, then when it got really low piping back up to the P2 to go to the medical bay. LOL, I didnt know my mag could evolve until i was lvl 14, and the only weapons I had through the whole thing was a Saber and a Brand. Good ol' days in PSO.

I bought the game used at a video store and it didn't come with an instruction manual so I just plopped it in and tried to figure it out on my own. My first char was a Fonewearl (still my fav http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif) I messed her stats up ridiculously bad and my first mag was completely screwed up lol. At the time I had no plans to play online so after a week or so, I headed over to Game faqs to get some info and help on the Lionel quest (I still hate that quest to this day.) I discovered that the first red box I found (and sold cuz I had no idea what to do with it) was actually a rare item and that it needed to be tekked http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif I found this site when I did a search for Al Rappy to try and find out what the deal was with the blue rappy that I had found. Heh, I was a black haired, black-clothed HUmar in Multi-mode. He got deleted, and remade into...another HUmar.

Heh, I was so psyched when I found my Buster. Twas awesome! Back then, I actually paid attention to the story...and I though Dark Flow was good. XD

Oh yes. How I started pso...
My sister,my brother and I all made our characters in multimode and ran off. We died and died... Then we found "the magic b button" Later our tp mysteriously disappeared. Then our first hildebear. The horrors of the dragon. "Omg kirrek is sooo strong"-my brother. Well, I pretty much ran into a corner of the room and shot and shot and shot and then ran. aah yes... I decided to venture into single player, which was thought to be certain death. I took on a quest. I discovered MANY things!!! It was like, "Holy Crap! You can do that!?"

Having never played the game before I started out as a fomar because in all the rpg i played I always played has a magic user. Basically for about to lvl15 I didn't know abouth the three hit combo or the mag thing until I found this site.

well on dc the first tme i ever played i was a ramar called ?????(couldnt think up a name).i didnt know much about the game for ages like what sbeats arms were for or a delsabers right arm so i threw them away.On the cube my first char was a humar and i played it on 2player with my mate on ep2 right from the word go(only 5 mins and i find a p drop yay)

When we first got the DC version I was a hunter. I was able to get to level 2, and could sort of begin to form combos, but I ran into a dreaded... Monest! The mothmants surrounded me and continually criticalled me for 6-10 damage.

I remember upon reaching normal caves I was getting scared of the difficulty because Evil Sharks were doing 10 damage to me. Considering it was the first time clearing an area in PSO after getting level 8 or so (since we switched off whenever someone got a level... made clearing areas difficult), so I was anxious about how difficult the next area would be, haha...

I also remember trying to fight final form hard falz with a DB's Saber with 40% dark, since I could do 400 with it, but could basically never hit with it. Long battle, that one was.

When we got the GC version it took us half an hour to find out how to get down to Forest in multimode, pretty bad when you have a ver.2 107 HUmar who beat Ultimate Falz and 80+ HUcast trying to figure it out.

The first time I played PSO, I played multi mode with my cousin (who had just got the gamecube version), and I was a FOnewearl (a pathetic one, at that). A couple months later I got the game and made myself a HUnewearl. So by the time I actually got it, I had a little experience, but none playing a hunter.

I still remember when we found our first red box (my sister, cousin, and I were doing normal forest at level 15 or something, and a booma dropped us a photon drop. I still remember what room of the forest that was in...), and I can remember my first special weapon (A 0/0/0/0 MUSASHI), and the first time I turned my mag into a Marica.

the first time i played pso (v1) i made a yellow parted hair humar in light green clothes called zidan... i don't remember much... though i made it to level 100 and then wondered what to do next http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

in version 2, it was more or less the same except when i reached ultimate mode i was unaware of just how strong the enemies were, so i was teh pwned there and lost my level 136 character to NOL

and V3, i started with a humar for the 3rd time, purplenum was my ID and Shiryu was his name and he too made level 136 before i lost him... though i managed to transfer most of his rares, so it wasn't all a loss... i used a hunewearl called Rinrin after that and then made my first fonewearl after which is teh pwning everything right this moment http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

lol, some good memories out there it seems. I remember trying to figure out the 3 hit combo, then thinking I was the shiznit cause I got it down first amonst my friends. Fearing the Dragon was another one that I still laugh at to this day. I just remember people talking about this big dragon you have to fight at the end of the forest, and me thinking "ok, the Hildebears are bad enough, but you're telling me there's something bigger?!?!" LOL, like I said, laugh at that to this day.

Well, the first time I tried PSO was with an imported jap version on DC, I created a humar seeing as I liked Chaz and other main PS hero's, I made him a ash looking char but with the Afro hairstyle and named him slade, after going into forest I got killed in f2, I then did BT and made kireek guide me through the game, that quest was very helpful because I was then able to utilize wep combo's and no how to use magic spells and the like.

2-5 weeks later I bought a New mem card and decided to create another Humar called Kazuma, me and my brother got into a debate because he said it didn't make sense to have to Hu chars and after not creating any char that day, the next day I turned the game on my bro created a RAmar for me, I hated that char for the first 20+ lvls but when I started to hear about what he could equip, I endured his crapiness until I got me a Double Saber, after that, he grew on me and still remains to be my favourite class till this day.

When I started the GC version, I had already knew the whole game so all I had to do was grasp the systems controls, which took about an hour or less to get used to and went on with ease to Ult.

yeah first time got a dreamcast only foir the reason it have PSO my friend told me to buy it. so I did and well i started with a Hucast names Fenix. I didnt know anything but finally found my way to the planet after 15 minutes lol saw my first monster didnt know what to do used about three mates while fighting that one rag rappy trying to figure out what to do after that everythign was a sinch.lol yeah i sucked. coem to think of it still do?

When I first started...hmm..Man that was waaaaay back on DC. But i do remember watching my friend play for about an hour so I had a good idea of what to expect. But I recall getting the 3 hit combo down fairly fast. Then i had to master the shoot and run tactics common of RAmars. All in all, it was nothing spectacular.
