I need some sig help... please...

I'm doing HTML in my required technology class and it's not difficult at all. I had a cool personal photo working, but then i tried to put images in my sig and now neither of them work. I need some assisstance PLEASE. The images are JPEG and meet the forum requirements... I'd like to fit two in my sig...

The problem is that I know how to do it and it has the little box with the red X in it... The second problem is that, for my sig, I want to upload the image from my computer, not a website.

UPDATE: This, I suppose, is obvious; but for some reason, I need to have the personal photo picture in a seperate window for the link to work in my info... I'll try that with the sig...

Unless you have some kind of HTTP server set up on your HD, none of us are ever going to be able to see that pic. It needs to be up somewhere on the net, and have a link pointing to it there.

Blast... But, it is on the net, it's just that putting them both there is way over the sig limit. Any free-hosting sites where I can upload the pics? Geocities doesn't allow direct linking, but if you upload whatever the jpg is as a .txt file and link that, it should show up (if I'm getting my GC trick right...) Try that on your personal photo first, and see if you can get that showing up in your account info. Then try it with the sig.

EDIT: The file types are ALL images. If I could put it in notepad I could easily save as .txt, but no other way :/

Just rename the jpg to .txt, it'll still be a jpg in format, and bypass Geocities' non linking sensors, but will still decrypt as a jpg on other's computers, due to the contents.

Hmm... SO if this is being hosted for free by geocities and thus my sig picture(s) are transfered as data to everyones computer when they see my post... Is it at all possible that my "website" could reach the 3GB per month limit...? It can be solved with simple math, but I forget all the byte conversions... Somehting with 8 bits and blah.

Just figure 35K a view. And remember, if someone's seen the pic before, they'll most likely have it cached, so it won't come off bandwidth a second time. Should be no problem at all.

YEAH! Finally! I was worried, I read Kodia's guide further and was doing the txt extension wrong. I needed the geocities account to understand, and so I reread and it hit me! I though, "of course!!!" And now it works, i'm so happy! And so... ti-r..e...d.....zzzzzzzzz

Nah, I couldn't create something like that without a picture in front of me, but I'd like to do just that! I'm deciding what medium though, it looks to require alot of different things... I'll probably settle on watercolor, that's been the best for me with other pictures (didn't have luck with pastels, i'm an ameteur with them).
