What is a n00b (not noob) ?
(aka newbie)
I'm going to be using multiple defenitions so bear with me. A n00b is a player who may or may not be new to a game, but insists on doing brainless things, especially things that hinder the team. Those who are defined by this post as "n00bs" will also refuse to listen to words of wisdom or, even worse, berate those who try to help.


Anyone who posts stupid crap. (Generally randomness that everyone knows about and has no need to be discussed again)

n00b- Someone who doesn't know anything about the current thing and doesn't wish to learn. Often annoying and either a hacker/duper in PSO. Not necessarily new to the game.

Newb- New person to the game. They can be good, since they don't mind learning.


That's how I feel it is.

Quite right... hinder a team, annoy people, or cheat/hack/dupe enough to the point where trading becomes pointless and useless

there's not much seperation between the two variations, apart from one being the devolved form of another; everyone is a newb at one point - it's the smartest ones who take in the knowledge and keep themselves from blurting out retarded statements like the one above.
