I'm assuming from the choices you mean American Nissin or Maruchan ramen... I'll go with Oriental there. Although I do find it funny that I've never tasted *anything* like Oriental in the Orient...

Ramen overall, Tantanmen is really good (spicy soy ramen with seasoned beef and veggies), and the virutes of Curry Udon (or Curry anything) cannot be discounted!

Maruchan (chen?) is the best.

Shrimp, for me. My mom swears on Seafood, though.

Usually I ditch the flavor packet and just put some butter in the noodles. But if I had to pick one... probably beef. I never go without adding my own spices, though. Sometimes hot sauce, sometimes chili powder, sometimes wasabi... others too.

I don't eat it so much anymore... got a rice cooker and a wok, and that was that.

First it was beef and chicken when I was younger, and only Maruchan.

Now all I like is the shrimp, and I don't add the seasoning pack while it has water in it. Cook it just long enough so the noodles are done but not slimey, strain off ALL the water, then add the seasoning and stir. Yay.

Abdur, how dare you speak of anything but Indomie.

It is by far the best ramen there is.

I was telling my friend at work how great it was and he didnt believe me, then one day when he was over he had some and loved it.

A few days later we went out to eat, he got a steak sandwich or something, and he sets it down and says "Man, I wish this was some of that ramen".

I hate ramen for the most part.

Shrimp and oriental are the only tolerable flavors, except for one more, which you stupidly forgot...

Where the FUCK is my lime with shrimp? XP

It's there, lurking in that nebulous "other" category.

Incidentally, other is the only category not capitalized. I call discrimination!

nope, i got a friend in college who eats them raw too. i dont see how you do it though, i would think that your mouth would get really dry after eating half the pack.

How can you FREAKS eat it that way? It's disgustingly, puke-inducingly drink-a-gallon-of-water-inducingly and spend the rest of the week with swollen ankles salty even mixed with water.

Then again, I have 0 salt tolerance. >_>;

Oriental, Top Ramen, is the only kind of ramen I can eat. Of course, ditching the sauce packet for a healthy serving of Yakisoba is also very good.

Man, they need to get a japanese food store in my town...and bloody fast.

Japanese restaurants are generally rare from around here. Unless you are in a big city you probably won't find one. Luckily, there's one just south of where I live in Bowling Green(god, that town has EVERYTHING, then again, its a college town)
