Red sword trouble

Heres one for you ketchup 345. If certain things i believe to effect drop rate actually DON'T as you say help me out with something. I discovored i could obtain a Red sword with Skyly offline from a govulmer in the cave. I have been at this for about 60 hours and since level 75. I am now at level 112 with still no Red Sword. This has to be harder to get off line on 1 player I think because there is no reason for me to have not gotten it already, you think?

It all has to do with luck i now have a level 108 ramar with not to many good items i barely ever find any rare items i find photon drops all the time yaya i cant use em cause im offline you know how much that pisses me off lol god dang it all

Firstly, this belongs in 'Mag, Quest, Item and Section ID Discussion'.

Secondly, it has been proved by looking at the coding of the game that nothing effects the drop rates of items. The fact is, you're just extremely unlucky! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif It happens sometimes, you can go for a long time without finding a weapon you want, and then all of a sudden you can find three right next to each other...sod's law, I guess.
On top of that, I'm guessing at level 75 you weren't exactly flying through Ultimate Caves, which may mean that regardless of how long you've spent there, you haven't actually killed that many Govulmers. I mean, the drop rate is 1/900, not exactly one of the easiest drops in the game, considering how many Govulmers there are in one Caves run.

And game data has proven that only personal luck, and a mechanical dice roll determine rare drops.

Remember, that is just an average, and you are not guarenteed to get one before then.

You are just probably very unlucky.

Try a quest with a lot of that type of enemy.

Other than that, good luck, and at least Skyly has nice Caves drops.

Thanks all fo rthe replys and jetchup[ was being kind of gay about my other problems so i threw this one at him. Well at least it pays playing sao much, I now have a demolition comet with 20hit 20native and 20A.beast and a chain sawd with 40 hit and 25native and 3 dragon slayers with hit. While i never found what I wanted the chain sawd with 40 hit i got this morning may 13 at approimentally 7:43 Pacific time was cool enough.

I think it's kinda stupid for one thing: It doesn't really metters how hard you try keep that in mind I designed this rythm to remind myself how.... err, Oops! sry...
What I was saying is that in this game it doesn't matters how hard you try. It's all about luck and that is unfair because you aren't actually paid for your work!
