Having played offline way too much, certain section IDs layouts are easy now to remember for me. I was wondering if it is rude when someone says 'Forest 1 to Ruins 3' type games, is it okay to run straight to the boss?

I tend to do this a lot especially when enemies don't have anything important for me to drop.

I don't think there's anything wrong with running straight to the boss if that's what your teammates want to do, or if they are just following you. Most online players that I've found just want to rush to the boss anyway.

I never rush to the boss because I only play areas in which there are certain items I want to find, and so I'll make whatever detours are necessary to kill all of the enemies that drop the specific item.
