Soul Eater again

the Soul Eater has evaded my pursuit for a while now. i do everything right until the part where you go further "up" in the quest Waterfall Tears, then the Black Hound is not there so what am i doing wrong? Theres no green arrow.

you most likely made a mistake somewhere.
try again on another difficulty setting or another char.
