Special Attacks on certain canes

Canes like Hildeblue/bear's specials are techniques, but are the power of the tech pre-determined, or dependant on a stat, like ATP or MST?

It is based on how wide open the jaw is. Anything else that fires out a teck for its special is at a set rate.

I doubted this theory too, but...

My FOnewearl was toying around with a Hildebear's Cane. I use the special on a Wolf. I do a 3-Hit Combo. Instead of doing the same damage each time...it varied quite a bit! By like a hundred points, I think, something like that.

And doesn't Hildeblue's Cane shoot Gibarta? PSOW has it listed as having Blizzard special.

You didnt know that the hilde cane special varied? O_o

It varies, but it is random, not affected by the mouths opening.

and yes, blues cane shoots gibarta.

The Hildebear Cane special is between a lv. 1 and lv. 10 Foie. It can be affected by MST and Merges. Therefore...a properly equipped FOnewearl can do lots of damage with the special.

And even more with plain old foie.

Everything that is affected by MST or Technique bonuses can be called a Technique, like Zinger314 said, Hildebears/Hildeblues Cane is Foie/Barta level 1-10.
If you want, Divine Punishment is also a Technique, since its based on MST.
