and click agree.

Insert email twice.
Check your email and proceed to link
This will be done by lines

First Line: Full name

Second Line: Put カナ in place in both boxes

Third Line: 144-8531

Forth Line: 東京都渋谷区渋谷2-15-1

Fifth Line: 0570-057-060

Sixth Line: Birthday; YYYYMMDD (19500724 etc. etc.)

Bullet: Male/Female

Three names, all have to be non chosen.

Click on button, then left button, then middle.
Check your email for UN/PW

You probably failed by not putting in proper Japanese into the forms. You need to install the IME and enter the correct character types in each field.

For the address, just copy and paste the example address it gives you. Worked fine for me.

this doesn't work for me, what could I be doing wrong? I fill in the boxes as stated in the first box, then it comes up with a box in japanese writing, presumably an error where I've typed something wrong, even though I copied and pasted word for word.

any ideas?

i for my part only get ?????????????????????
i just figured out that the name has to be typed in kanji or hiragana, and that the second line has to be the name in katakana.
once i did it that way, the error message got shorter about 2 lines.


edit - solved it:
the numbers and the nicknames have to be put in in english mode. and of course the nicknames have to be nonchosen by others.

what do you do if you can't type in your id? I presume it is on the pso start screen under the heading that includes ID amongst some jp text? When i press enter, a cursor appears but I can't type. wtf is happnin?

Make up a name to "get" one, and nonchosen means not currently in use as an account name.

1)Keep flooding the post and the mods will give you a warning. There is a button to edit your posts. Use it!
2)Keep flooding my inbox/E-Mail and I will block you. FLOODING IS NOT NICE.
3)If you can not think of 3 IDs, if you are asking help for 3 IDs, I do not want to imagine the problems you would have once in the game, since it is fully in japanese.

Hm.. though I have a Mac, I just went to check it out for the heck of translating the page for ... well... the heck of it, and apparently its stopped giving out IDs...

This is what it says on the board, if my Japanese is right (Here goes my Japanese skillz; watch out!):



"The giving out of Game IDs has been temporarilly suspended from 3pm of June 30th (Wednesday) [Japan Time, of course]. We expect to resume the service from July 8th (Wednesday) at 10 am [again, Japan time]. Thank you for your patience, and we hope that this isn't a big inconvinience."
