this is pissing me off to no ends

My brother rented pokemon collosium and he hasn't stopped playing it.
what makes it worse is my Mother is also playing it.

I had to clear off two mem cards so they could play

For three days my brother played and the moment he got off my mom would go on.
I finally get to play my GC and my mom comes home and kicks me off
then she leaves and i am about to play again my brother comes home and kicks me off.
This has been going on for a week now

The only game saves I have now are My PSO 1-3 and my AR codes

I am getting pissed cause i can't get onto my GC at all

Well, tell he/she and your mother to gtf off your gamecube.

I paid for mine and I'll be damned if anyone hogs it but me. Unless, of course, If I had a girl friend and she played it...then I'd be the biatch and she'd own the gamecube. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

You could try telling them to shove that game up their ass. But then you'd be sailing the high seas for another family. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Geezus that sucks. I'd be scared if my parents started playing on my systems and hogging them from me. x_x

You could've bought them their own Mem cards....

Buy a 259 for yourself, and save all your non-PSO stuff on there.

Why don't you kick them off?

'my' referring to the fact you paid for it.
You have legal ownership ofer said product, they should be asking for your permission to play, hogging it should be out of the question.

If you mom paid for you gamecube ... =/
Otherwise.. *kick* http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Live with it.

Bring up how you cleared your memory cards for the Pokemon game, your mom will just say "It is only a game, you can get all that stuff back."

And that if you contest that it is your Gamecube (if it is your own, didn't read all of the posts), that it is their house, their electricity that you're using, that they can play the Gamecube when a game is rented.

Basically, you sit there and smile. And buy a new memory card for yourself and the such and learn to live with it. Because you know what, the game is rented and you won't have it forever. Plus, five years from know, will you even remember this whole thing? Probably not.

yeah I know

that is too true for me to say anything to.
it is sorta stupid of me but at least I let them play any other system even when I rent a game.

"lose" a component to the gamecube that is vital for playing, I.E. the a/v cable, or the power cable.

or, you could do what i would do and say "get the fuck off of MY gamecube. I fucking paid for it. if you want to play all day buy your own and stop wasting MY memory on a game i dont even FUCKING like"

...yeah, option 2 is your last resort...

I know what you feel. Back when we got the World Cup 98 game on christmas, which was one of my first and last soccer games, my father got to the point of spending new year's eve playing it.

To that date he was the one telling me all the time not to push it with videogames.

just something for your mem card problems: we bought a 1009 block memory card for GC at wallmart that was pretty cheap, not sure about Canada though now that I think about it.

I want one of those 1000 block mem cards

Easy solution.

Give them the Cube and get the xbox live.

We need more players over here.

Solution 2: get them into PSO and teach them multiplayer. I do it with my son and he loves playing with me. He also plays with my chars and as long as he doesn't mess em up or sell my stuff, it's all cool.

Just be lucky its only a rental... you would definetely be in Hell if they decide to buy it.

If that is the case, might as well convince them to buy a refurnished GC, so youll keep yours and they have theirs.

$70 for X-Box live Kit.
Includes a couple free games, forgot which ones. Includes the headset and one year subscription to X-Box Live.

If you play PSO online, its $8.95 a month. Otherwise, most games are free.
