Well, you're probably talking about my snaps... Took mine from 1024x768, then took the quality way down to get size somewhere more dial-up friendly. Difference of about 500K in sizes when the quality is taken down. So it looks much more pretty in actual gameplay.

As for the new stage, haven't gotten that far. I still need to play some "offline" to open the stages, and hopefully that will do it. I'm guessing the new stage is available through the new NPC.

One more thing, what are the minimum specs to run this game?, if it ever came to europe it would be cool but seeing as i don't use my PC for games it might not cope. Thanks for any input.

Merikle and Mericus are just variants of Mericarol. They have different drops than Mericarol, but they're not really 'rare'. Isn't the Merikle a set spawn, anyway? I know I had it when I did 7-4 the first time. Second time everything died too fast for me to note if anything was different. It may be a Mericarol that just has the possibility to be a Merikle or Mericus, I suppose. I'd need to test it.

Actually, it's quite easy : just get some serious 4-2 (or 4-4) going, or do 5-4 and hope for rare ennemies, or do 7-3, or....

Lots of possibilities. Even I got to level 70, and I died a whole lot, otherwise I'd have hit lv85 ish... and I didn't play all that effectively either.

In that screenshot? Yes, it is Mericus. The lighting makes it look more yellowish, but it's Mericus. It even says so - The katakana there read 'MERIKYUSU'. And in the shot of you fighting it, you can even see it's lightning-based damage.

There it is in the back. As you can see, sort of, the blades on your Mericus ARE the right colour, and it's much less green in-game than it is in that picture. I've done East/West Tower thirty billion times and I read katakana, trust me, it is a Mericus. ^_-;

you really should download a program so you can save your pictures in .gif and .jpg format...it doesnt work on all computers and .bmp is notorious for HUGE file sizes...like your 900KB one...

Yeah, I was just playing with it equipted as normal (never droped it or anything), I got disconnected, came back on, everything was ok.

Got disconnected again, but this time it went to the bit were you have to press enter when your loading the game up. Some Japanese text scrolled across the top of the screen, which I have never seen before. I quit out, then reconnected, and all my inventory had gone.

I decided to log off then on again to see if my inventory would re-appear, it did, but minus the Cameleon Sythe. /sigh that was the only good weapon I had, and i'd only just got to use it.

I really dont know if to carry on playing now, if stuff like this can happen, as I'm not going to find another one any time soon.

I'm thinking it was a server glitch, and it thought the item was illegal, and basically deleted it. Maybe thats what the text said at the top of the screen? I'm thinking this as I dont think you can technically find it in the game....ah, who knows.

It could very well be a server glitch - Transferring items, sometimes something dropped on the floor will 'corrupt' somehow, and attempting to pick it up will cause you to DC. So far I've seen a satanic Barta 8 and had an evil Gifoie 5. X_x;

Which my friend lost a Revival Garnment once.

I however haven't lost anything yet, though I do know a minor PSO PC bug that is somewhat common in v2 and v4. Basically when you drop an item on the ground in P2 to transfer and come back for it, sometimes it won't be there but technically it is. You just don't see it. Just exit the game and rejoin until you see the items again.

As for your loss, if you are interested, I could provide you a weapon as compensation in of a sort... Flowen Sword?

Thanks for the offer of the Flowen Sword, Nites. I have, however decided to cancel my subcription. This is partly due to the item loss, but mainly because I am not enjoying the game as much as I thought I would. The language barrier is too great for me, and the fact that my mate has decided to do the same means I will have no one to play with at the hours I play.

Glad you like it. VR Spaceship is an annoying level sometimes (the boss and enemy mix enrages me sometimes. Wolves AND Delsabers!?), but Beta has some AMAZING photo ops.

first time beating dark falz on PSOBB...odd story about RADIX...she joined me and slick in ruins 1 as a level 1. she stayed with us and stayed ad stayed and made it to falz at level 5...but she died right when the final blow was given to falz so no exp for her...
