I believe this item is exclusive to Purplenum, right? Yeah, it is, so I figured I'd go ahead and try to get one (since my purplenum character is a RAmarl). Drop rate? Pretty bad from what I've heard. So I'm doing my first run, first time looking for a Yas ever. And who's hopes would be high, considering how rare this is? Definitely not mine, so I really didn't know how to react when I saw that Crimson rare drop and it wasn't a PD. ^_^
Heh, sure enough I'd snagged my very first Yas, very first run. You know those uber lucky people you always wish you could be, just because they're so damn lucky? Well, I again know what it feels like to be that person. Only 15% to native, but I'm not complaining.
So how long do you think it'll take me to get a 2000H? ^_^

I also tried to get a Yas9000 last weekend. Brought my lvl 67 HUnewearl into Mines for the first and only run and got a Flowen's AUW 3073 instead of the Yas. Wanna trade?

Took me 18 offline temple runs to get one with no percents. And I swear to god on run #8, a chrimson assassin dropped an L&K14 with 5 hit. I see a red box, appear under an assassin i just killed, its a gun type w/ low atp and 5 hit...WHAT?!?! AN L&K14? That made me quite angry, stuoid offline lag...

Well, congrats. And the drop really isnt THAT hard, so theres no need for people to kill you. If you got it from a canune on your first mines run, that would be a different story....

My mag has 170 dex, so I have like hardly and ATP at all...

Well, that's good. But that concept is all wrong. HU's need more dex and RA's need more pow. You use God/Arms to raise a RA's ata. God/Arm = an extra 30 lvls on your mag (another 60 atp).

Just leave me and my mag in peace!! I don't need ATP because I can just one-hit kill everything thanks to my Hell s-rank vulcans, after a freeze from my Frozen Shooter (both legit). And if that won't work, I can just nail em with a demon blast from my raygun with 25%hit. Bosses are the only thing that take some time, but it's still not so bad that it frustrates me.
Power just isn't my priority right now.

You're either on drugs, something is wrong with your game, or you're not talking about ultimate. If none of this is true, than you wasted time getting a useless weapon.

And if power is not a priority at all, than you don't need any weapons but the ones you have, and leveling up serves no purpose. I don't mean to be rude, but if you don't care that you arent doing damage, than why are you playing pso?

Ok this is getting out of hand...

I do care that my POW is low, but since I'm killing everything in one-hit, it's not needed at the moment. And I am taking about ultimate; I'm only 79, but already at teh seabeds, thanks to those mechs. There's no way I would've gotten that far if I had to do simple physical damage the whole way. As I did say, I am working on getting a power mag. The Yas is only useless at the moment, until I get that mag raised.

Purplenum Yas2k is amuch more difficult drop than yas 9k.

and although it is possible to be in seabed at level 60 or below, I find it to be complete bullshit that you got there using that equipment.

I say this because I never had such terrible luck in my whole time of playing PSO GC, I did like 3-5 runs and nothing, then the 6th run things start to pick-up, a Merlan dropped a Red box which was a PD, then a Del-D drops another PD, I getto the last room and a Merlan drops another Red box (knowing what it is and having 2 previous drops from my greenill char I couldn't give a flying fuck if it was not a PD) but there it was, another fucking anti-andriod Rifle, I pick it up and hand it over to my RAmarl, I get to 2nd floor and a Crimson drops a Red Box, me over joyed kill the enemies in front of it only to see a..... PD. pissed off, I finish the run and get a L&K from a Mothvert (having a higher drop drate than Yas 9k's...)

Currently, I have receieved 4 PD's from those stupid Crimson Assassins while the game had given me a Anti-andriod Rifle which has a EXTREMELY high drop rate over a Yas 9k, and also a L&K from a mothvert, which also has an higher drop rate than yas 9k's..... I will never get the last to yas weps.... (7k and 9k are the only ones left).

Hmm...now what would I gain from lying? ^_^ Let me give you a rundown...
Let's say I am in teh jungle. I run in and theres a few flower pests. I make one come up, freeze it with my FS, then pull out the hell s-rank mechs. After a few blasts if falls, and I laugh. Then repeat. It's all a simple matter of freezing them and blasting them with the hell special. Enemies EDK in epII is really low, so it's no problem to kill them. And since the hell on the s-rank isn't split, that's nine normal hell shots in like 2 seconds. On the sub-bosses, I freeze them, then use Demon special several times. Then just a simple barta or zonde and they're gone as well.
It's really not that hard. 0.o

Okay, what my mistakes were about the Srank hell special not being split, I will give you that, and the you must be the most patient person in the fucking world if that's what you're doing on every enemy.

Oh, and usually it donsn't take more than one combo to dispatch the enemies; usually the gibbons are the hardest to kill. So it really doesn't take long at all.

And if there's more than one? Why, I pull out another s-rank, a needle, and confuse all of them. Then I get back and take them out one by one while they're busy hitting each other.
See there are more ways of playing than just doing brute damage all the time. ^_^

btw, what do you do in epsiode one? megid-esque things almost never work there.

Lemme tell you my Yas9k history...

My firend found one, not looking for it in an online run with someone. The people he was playing with, of course, couldn't believe it.
A week or so later, I was playing temple with someone, didn't know which ID it was. The Yas9k dropped right at my feet! Thanks to lag, I didn't get it.. but oh well.
So I wanted one after that. I took my Purplenum RAmar and headed to Temple. 6 runs later, I had my own.
So thats 2 Yas ive seen dropped in less than 8 runs... added with him... 3 in 9... Added with you 4 in 10.....

So you see, it wasn't my fault or nyone elses it dropped all those times, we just got that lucky % http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
