Don't feel bad, I just yesterday discovered accidentally that Shock can be healed by Sol Atomizers...

That's what I get though for not using Androids on the DC, and then not playing GC till Plus. Just never had the opportunity to adapt. Never occured to me for some reason that "all status ailments" would really mean what it says.
