Heaven's Punisher

Does anyone use this weapon on a regular basis? I got one in a trade and I'm still trying to figure out how to use its special. I know its related to beats and all that, I'm just now sure exactly how that works. Also, is the special something that works often enough to choose this weapon over a frozen shooter or a yas type gun? Is there any particular situation where you would say something like "Brother, why you using the frozen shooter when you got a frickin heaven's punisher, fool!" Also, it has no hit percent - does that influence the ability of its special or is it like the frozen shooter's special? Just curious.

The ATA doesn't affect the special, Sitka. It always hits. Can't say it always does that good of damage, but looks cool as shiznazzle.

Heavens punisher sucks, plain and simple. A varista with hit % is better.

Thanks Primrose - that was very helpful as well. Given that my Racast has 0 MST, I would have to agree with Lain that it doesn't look like too good a weapon for me. What a tease: "The ultimate weapon." I'll pass it on to one of my other chars with MST and let them play with it.

It is weak, has a crap special, I think it looks dumb as all hell, and there isnt much else to it.

Red handgun, ruby bullet, yasminkov 2000, varista with hit%, bravace, supressed gun, and rayguns with good specials and hit% are all better, classier alternatives.

Hmm, my brother uses a legit Heaven Punisher, and is a RAcast. The only time he ever really uses it is in the mines, since it can be fairly decent and hitting the large groups of Gillchics and Canadines consistently. It has a fairly wide (not long) range, so it can be good with keeping the circling mines creatures at bay. The damage isn't that impressive, but from what I've seen it only has its uses in Ultimate while in the Mines. Other than that he uses weapons like Frozen Shooter/Snow Queen or Spread Needle, and even in the Mines he doesn't always use Heaven Punisher, even under the right beats.

Heaven Punisher, oddly enough, seems to rape multi-targettable bosses. It shows what seems to be only one number, but it seems to be hitting the boss for several times with the sameg exact damage at the same exact time, and shows as one number. Vol Opt ver.2's second form can't do much against a Heaven Punisher.

But, I'm not really defending the Heaven Punisher. It's not really worth its rarity, even for the Bluefull drop. But, it can have some uses. Just not as many uses as we all would like.

So, overall, for the rarity of it, yes, it is quite crappy.
