GC: Ethernet Cable

What is an Ethernet Cable? I need one to go online.
I know where to get one, I just know if it looks like a regular cable or has a distinguished look.

I dont know where i can buy the broadbane or modem thing or can i just use my DSL one, or does it have to be a GC one?

Ethernet Cable is also known as Cat 5 (or more advanced, Cat 6). It looks kind of like a broader bigger phone plug. You can pick it up from about any store that sells computer accessories.

As for a modem/BBA, yes, you need a specific part for the Gamecube, as it plugs into the bottom of the Cube itself. Check Nintendo's web site, you can order them straight from them.
