HUcaseal revised

I`ve been thinking lately - not many people seem to have/like HUcaseals (correct me if I`m wrong). The question is why? Of course I`ll pass on explenations about one`s personal likes and dislikes - we`ve seen it before lots of times. I`ve been playing with HUnter class characters since v2 for DC and still I was quite amazed with HUcaseal capabilities when I finally decided to create one (and nice moves animations on the other hand). I was even more then I`ve heard about it - "Give her a pair of daggers and she`ll cut through anything". I know that there are lots of people who dislike any android characters just for the lack of Techniques. Placing the HUcaseal as an example - I think she just doesn`t need any. A true melee master (personaly, I think she can hold her own with HUcasts) with nice ATP,ATA and EVP (plus include all those mats and right MAG stats). Ok, so maybe the DEF is kind of low but even that can be taken care of with right gear (making her strong enough to kill the enemy quick and recive little/none hits in the process doesn`t seem to be a lot of challange, either). *sigh* Well - that was only me - what are your thoughts?

In my opinion, there is only one flaw with the HUcaseal, the same flaw that is throughout the androids - They can't heal themselves using magic, making boss fights extremely annoying, and they can't S/D/J/Z (Although I find S/D isn't so much of a problem with my trusty Savitri http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

S&D problem can be somewhat helped with a mag with Mylla&Youlla PB, but yes, some fight are annoying without resta.

I have a HUcaseal, I like playing with HUcaseals, they use different animations. Her Melee is incredible and you can get away with a three-hit-combo against Bartle and Barble without any Battle Units! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif
Doesn't HUcaseal have less DEF but higher ATA than HUcasts? I think ATA is more important to have, the HUcast has too little ATA. Sooo, I find HUcaseals actually quite good and fun to play with!

Yes - hers melee is really incredible. I can`t wait to see Asakiya at about lvl 150..*sigh*

It's only when compared to HUcast the HUcaseal comes up short. You;d think that the HUcaseal would at least have more power hp or defense than a humar but no they dont. It's basically the same as humar but a little more ATA and humars are fine anyway a little more evade and who cares about evade and then they cant use magic jelen or zalure or anything cool like that. Their dagger attack is cool though

My HUcaseal currently uses Bloody Art and Silence Claw. Both jsut because they look damn cool. The stabbing bit in the claw animation especially.

1) ATA is the second most important stat (In my opinion... most others will say first), so that's 1 plus

2) HUcaseals have very fast animations, so even if they are doing less damage with each hit, they are faster, and hence, hitting more.

If you are talking about android hunters the inevitable comparison of the Hucast vs. Hucaseal will come up. Here are some of the cons of the Hucaseal: her power is not extraordinary, even the Racast is more powerful; her trap progression is slow (Look at the Hucast. The Hucast has 13 damage, 20 freeze and 20 confuse by level 126!); the Hucaseal also lacks HPs and defense by comparison the Hucast.
All in all, the Hucast is a better hunter, and as far as his ATA being low, please! Play a Fomar, then we can complain about the "puny" 191 ATA (that is more than enough).
I believe for these reasons most players overlook the Hucaseal as an efficient killing machine. You could argue that the Hucaseal is up there with the other poorly implemented characters of this game such as the Fomar, Fomarl and Racaseal. In fact, I would go ahead and rank the Hucaseal among the worst characters in the game, up there with the Fomar.
Of course, I do not play this game to use the best character, I play the game to have fun. The Hucaseal and Fomar are, to me, the most fun characters to play in the game. Elegant, challenging and highly versatile these two characters are the best looking and most entertaining characters to play. I love hucaseals, but they do come up short statwise.

If they had better HP and defense, I would say that they are better than hucasts.

It's the racast that I cant stand. He has the hucaseal topped in every stat, except evasion.
