What up peoples.I ben playin Pso for a while now and I ben checkin this site out for a while too, you know, lookin at the art and readin the posts I just never bothered to register. Finnally I summoned up enough of my awesome might and decided to start postin. Like most people I have little story lines in my head for all my charecters and I like to draw and dabble in all forms of art so I figured I'd drop some of my work up here as well. This picture is of my friends Ramar "Fury". I remember it like it was yesterday that was the first time we fought the Gol Dragon we were all pretty low level and we were gettin smacked. Fury ended up being our last hope since we all got killed he was supposed to Moon Atomize our Fomar and save the day but half-way in the process of doing that the G.Dragon froze him with something teleported as high as he could and just stomped dead on Fury. . .UGH what a mess. Any way it was like the funniest thing we had seen in PSO up to that point so I had to comemorate it with this little piece.
I am fairly new to posting pics so if you cant see it for whatever reason or you see that friggin red "X" maybe someone could help me out. Feel free to honestly comment. Dont worry you wont hurt my feelings.

Wow, that is quite the interesting picture. And I'm not commenting on the subject matter, either. It's the style I find fascinating...

I've never seen anything like it. How exactly did you do this? In some parts, it appears CGed, and in others it looks like a nice scan of colored pencils. Very odd indeed, and I find myself liking it for its uniqueness.

I feel the same way. It has a photoshop appearance, yet a hand-drawn one at the same time. As MQ said, it is definatly unique and original!

well I drew the ramar and the Gol Dragons Head by hand using regular pencils and paper. I found doing all the little details in his scales and crevices to be quite long task so I just did outlines for his body. Using my digital camera I snapped some shot of the picture and uploaded them to photoshop(I dont have a scanner). I added color then textures to all the existing elements and shadows. The background I drew in photo shop using the mouse. But the farthest part of the background ,the city, is a modification I did of another snapshot I took of NY "which is probly the CG look you refered to". Slap it all together and This is the result. I've got some other hand drawings and sketchews that I want to color in paintshop, but I'll definetely draw the backgrounds by hand too so everything kind off flows together better. First fanart I've seen in which the character isn't looking confident or determined, or even alive for that matter!

LOL yall are funny. Actually when it stepped on him the Gol Dragon just kind of smeared him into the ground but I wanted a more dramatic composition, then just guts every where. When it happened we just couldnt stop laughing cuz it looked so funny. But then my friends memory card got deleted by unknown parties so its kind of like Fury really did die. Like I said I got a whole story line in effect and maybe I'll write a fic with some new art.
