My friend and I are playing PSO on the cube. Now we've got a problem: We are level 15 & 18 but our characters only can enter Forest 1. We already killed Le Roi De once, so we were able to enter the Mines. But after saving & restarting (for some more exp) we were only able to enter Forest 1 again. What could be our problem?

Wherever player got to on single mode affects multiplayer. so say player one got to ruins 1
then in multiplayer mode the whole team can go to ruins 1

But we've advanced until Mines2, the chars were saved, but the teleporter can't remember the locations. Means we have to go all the way through Forest and Caves until we reach the Mines, but you should be able to go to Mines directly after killed Le Roi De... shouldn't make a difference SP & MP, should it?

Example: If you finish Forest in single player (and after you killed the boss, you talk to the principal), you can start from Mines in single player and multi.
You can only enter levels that you have finished in singel player.

It actually does make a difference, since the original version of the game did not have offline multiplayer, it seems that ST tried to apply the same logic of online play to offline multiplayer.

Basically, the creator of the game (first player) determines what areas the team can go to depending on which areas the creator of the game (first player) has access to. Otherwise, it would have to remember which areas each person has completed, or each combination of players, or the highest completed stage, or something. It just isn't coded that way.

I can confirm that.
My friend and I did VHard Mines with my Butoden and B@L characters, and since B@L isn't even in Hard Mode yet ( http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif ) and Butoden was first player, otherwise we couldn't even go to Caves. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cool.gif

For Multi-player or Online, there's a prerequisite for each difficulty. Lvl 20 for Hard, 40 for V.Hard, and 80 for Ultimate...or something like that. And that's for ALL players involved, not just one of them.
