View Full Version : "No, you didn't do that! I did the 300+ damage when I'm only

Ok, another PSO rant. I play PSO with a friend who's a little younger than I am. I play as my lvl 116 RAmarl who uses a Red Scorpio+50. We go to the Forest on Normal every time because my friend doesn't like Hard mode. He uses a Ranger also, a RAmar. He uses things like Rifles and crap like that. So, he's shooting away at a Booma, and I use my Red Scorpio to blast the heck out of the same Booma. A "360" pops up in front of the Booma as it falls to the ground, and when I say, Booyah, 360!" My friend says, "No, you didn't do that, it was me!" We argue for a while over who did the damage, me thinking "How the heck does a level 20 character do 300 damage!?" They don't! Also, my friend doesn't go online, so he can't dupe weapons at all anyway. I'm thinking he's just a pompous prat portal at times like those. Does anyone else have a problem like this?

EDIT: He's also the type who can't stand being wrong, so I just let him win, but inwardly say "___hole", knowing I'm right.

like I have said many times before

"One of my friends is just like that"

he is the worst to play any game with

it was funy as hell when we went into battle mode

I took my level 1 HUcast and he took his level 27 HUmar

I just go in with a sabre and when I find him I switch to the darkflow and hit him once and he dies

It's funny as hell to see a level 1 kill a level 27 with a dark flow

hard as hell to do without duping though

took me 7 monthes to get enough power materials

Doesn't seem as hard to me, considering HUcasts have the highest ATP, buy but since said HUcast was lvl 1...but sometimes I just wish I could kick my friend's butt in battle mode. They (yes, I have more than one PSO-playing friend) won't even challenge me, though.

I use to get the shit kicked outta me; cuz I'd always beat the crap outta my friend in the "Mortal Kombat" games. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

I didn't know you could adapt to physical abuse. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Anyway....yeah I argue with some of my friends over silly little things like that. Sometimes I start it, sometimes vise-versa. A majority of the time I'm right though, cuz I don't open my mouth about something unless I know what I'm talking about *mostly*

It's fun to argue isn't it. It's like a Dragonball Z battle *don't hit me for that last remar....Ohhh, damnit, I said don't hit me*. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I have a friend who always wants to do the most easy setting ever when playing against the cpu. Personally I dont care whether we do easy or vhard but after 6 months and winning without dieing once ever you do tend to get sick of it. Hes also the same guy that never bothers to finish a game ever and just goes on the cheat sites on day one to get the best stuff.

Tact
Jun 6, 2004, 06:19 AM
That same friend always asks me to go into Ultimate difficulty...to get THEM stuff. Pff, like he's ever going to be able to use the weapons...soon, his bank'll be full and it'll be all those weapons I've given him. So, they're just wastes of space...

EDIT: ...and it's going to be funny to see him try to single out the best ones, because there are so many...he'd say, "*my name*, do you think this is better, or this?" I probably won't answer.

DARK FLOW
Required ATP: 971
Lv.001 HUcast ATP after maximum Power materials and a 200pow mag: 745
SO....

$currentATP = 745
$requiredATP = 971

IF ($currentATP < $requiredATP)

Please explain how you equiped the Dark Flow at lv.001 for us again.

The funny part is a dark flow has to be duped anyway so not legit what ever you do to equip it.

Not really if the lv 1 had handouts. I bet I could floor a lv 200 with a megid with a lv 1 force with a mind mag, 4 god minds and the best Megid lv I could use.

My new FOnewm (horray for PSO and boredom during summer months), with a mag borrowed from a higher-level character.... 50/50/76/24..... did 100+ damage to a booma in normal forest with a saber.

And I had Shifta/Deband because of the twins PB blast. I was quite happy since I was a level 5 FOnewm at the time. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

4x God/Power = +200ATP.

Brings it up to 945.

However...

Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeer, someone seems to be forgetting L1304 Mags. XP

L1 HUcast + 125 Power Materials + 326 POW = 997 ATP

And that's how a L1 HUcast uses a Dark Flow.

Counterowned. >_>;

Other method involves max-statting, just perform max stat trick until ATP >= 971.

I assumed that since she went throught the trouble of finding all of the materials with simple duping, that perhaps she went with a legit mag.

...And then suggested a 200 POW mag, which isn't possible. >_>; Hell, I don't even know if a 200 POW Mag exists. The hacked white Sato is 195 POW. Only L200 Mags with 200 to one stat I know of are DEF(Possible, but stupid) and MIND(Pink Sato).

sorry I about the dark flow thing
I forgot to explain
and it was a HUmar not a HUcast (stupid mix up)

well anyway
angelwings with 175 power
250 Power materials
4 god/powers

and one darkflow

lets see here

175 X 2 = 350

250 X @ = 500

4 god powers = 200

thats 1050 ATP for my HUmar

One thing that makes my blood boil is when a little kid will play game after game against you. I have the game, he never played it before, so it's a given that I literally 0wn him every single time. But when he finally gets the one win against me, he takes a pompous in-your-face attitude and attempts to use it as a launchpad to say that I suck.

Forewarning: last idiot who did that to me is under a tombstone now.

What really pizzazes me off is when me my bro(12yrs) and sis(8yrs) play. They have this habit of who can activate the telepipes and warps first. I swear, it gets on my nerves hearing those two spend an hour of running in and out of a gate. Also when we are fighting monsters my sis is always to busy looking for boxes and purposely getting killed when shes lv.30 and we play on normal mode. And since i'm a ramar and i barely do any major damage and my bro is a humar(were both at level 38) my bro walks around killing everything fast on puropose so i won't get any exp like hes badass. I usually play with my freinds over there house but my mom gets mad at me cuz she says i'm neglecting my bro and sis so I'm force to play with those two.

If the console is yours, tell your siblings they can't play on it anymore.

If it's not yours, keep playing at your friend's place.

If your mom makes a fuss, ignore her.
