Ive never been a fan of BEARD, I often mocked friends for their attempts at modelling their facial hair, but one weekend, an extended bout of PSO and not a sharp razor in the house, and before I knew it, I was sporting a BEARD.
The BEARD is a funny thing, a bit like a squatter on your face, once it has a foot hold, its very hard to get rid of it. It took me 2 weeks of procrastination and one very new, very sharp razor, before i was willing to tackle the now thick bush of wire protruding from my face....

remember, all it took was one day without shaving, it could happen to you!

I have asked others about this phenomenon, I have named "PSO beard"
has anyone else experienced this everyday menace lurking under our very skin?

My facial hair comes in thicker on my upper lip, not my chin. So I have to battle a scruffy moustache(which is a bizarre spelling), which is, as it sounds, much easier than a beard(another wak spelling).

...Don_Art just made an explanation of being too lazy to buy a sharp razor to cut his stubble.. hehe

I've never shaved, I have a nice moustache and a ghoti growing, and I'm going to let it grow into a full beard until it gets insanely fugly or if I hold a poll here at PSOW. I'm THAT bored..yes..

I've trimmed my moustache when it began to creep into my mouth from being so long http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif and the beard?
I've had a gruff face before but then instead of shaving, have opted to pluck hairs by tweezer(disclaimer: don't do this). It is easier than shaving or I'm too scared to finally shave I guess.

I usually have a bit of stubble, but it looks good on me.

Getting rid of chin hair is piss easy! Just get an electric razor!

And if you're worried about the hairs being too long, then use the clipper that cut sideburns to trim the beard down to an acceptable level, little unlike the method used to shear sheep, then you can use the razor blades...

Whew first shave a few days ago!
"Mach 3"/ 3 bladed razor.
Soap http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif no shaving cream or anything yet hehehe.
Didn't shave anything at first but then pressed down harder and voila! Stubble gone but goatee beard exists. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
I didn't know where to tell anyone about this experience so I decided to post it here.

hehe, nice. I have a nice ghoti and mustache, waiting for my beard to grow in. It's getting there. I'm just going to keep the Ikari look until I get with someone and they don't like it. I'm leaving my facial hair options up to them.

...until then, it's my hair, and I'll grow it if I want to. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

..but nothing that looks like crap on me :

Wouldn't you rather shave with a non-rusted Agito?
CHAIN SAWD hmm...ouch and are these photon thingy blades as good as razors?
Much like a lightsaber it just may slice your face off but seeing how it hits enemies like a club or wooden 2x4, maybe not.

Hahaha, I thought this thread would be about Beardy Players on PSO, in the gamesense, not real life. ^_^;;;

I use a mach 3 blade. Despite the fact the blades SOMETIMEs leaves cuts with 3 lines parallel to each other (which kinda spooks people when they see it), it's a decent blade. o_O

(plugs the mach 3 and hides the advertisement money)

When I was 14 I felt like a man, because I shaved for the first time.
...Now all this stupid beard that I hate grows faster and each day I have to shave it. Kinda makes me wish I didn't have it in the first place. Believe me, shaving can become a nasty habit. Especially if you shave in a hurry.
How many times have I cut myself? - sigh -
