PSOBB: PSOBB Online Quest 3-2 Help

Tried this quest at least 5 times already and I can never get out. Me and a friend keep on getting stuck because of the mist/fog that keeps on pushing us back. We've hit the computer room and I've even tried killing all those things that pop up out of the floor, but we can't seem to get past the mist/fog. What do we have to do?

Do not run, just walk or hit the switch. Didnt do the quest yet, but that's what others say.
