BB snapshots bigger now?

I was taking snap shots of BB and wanted to pot them on PSOW but after I bit of them shrink I realized that it was because there size was 900K.
why has the size incresed?
can I enlarge t pic well keeping the piccie big enough to see?

if not can you point out another good picture hosting other than photobucket.

Why dont you just turn them to JPG format? that is what I do, and even Paint can do it. A 900K bmp image can become a 125K JPG image with mostly the same image quality.

It depends on your screen resolution for some odd reason.

good odd reason. higher resolution = more pixel.
since bmp is a format where each pixel gets notated with colour (= no compression), it turns out into rather high filesizes.

900k at 800x600, 1.4m at 1024x786, 2.3m at the next step and so on and so forth.

as said before, get yourself a picture viewer.
irfanview, xnview, never mspaint for that matter and save the file as jpg/png/gif. pic your fav format.
or resize it even. crop parts out of it. whatever.

taking screenshots on pc versions of pso are alot better since you dont have small little resolutions http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

If you remember the official sega screenshots, those were huge!

The SEGA screenshots were 1280x1024 which is what I play at. As far as sizing down the shots, save them on JPG using Adobe Photoshop on between 8-10.
