From what I've heard, there's an AR code with can corrupt a player. Anybody got any more info about who's used it so far, where it was used and the like?

NOTE: I'm not asking where to get the code, or how to use it.

If you find the bastard that created/released or is using that code, I have a nice 20' caber we can tie him to and burn him on.

Not the corruption one. What system have you heard about it for? GC or Xbox. And has it been made for Ep 1 and 2 or ep 3?
Eeeppp no more going in Vega >.<!
I hope this is a false rumor.....

Ok, action replay having a Corrupt code.......that's just wrong man.

I might wait till I do some research into this before I fully convince myself to go online with my PSO *Gamecube*.

Ok, an AR code doing that for X-box would not happen. AR allows you to dupe...that's it. I think hex codes and AR codes are getting confused here.

If you accept a Guild Card from someone on Episode III, someone could use the FSOD code to corrupt you while it's saving. In which case, go to Lobby 1 to 15 to accept it to prevent this.

Jack's the only one correct....
There isn't a code because AR doesn't packet edit anyone at all, packet editing cannot affect any character but the one who is doing in it in terms of corruption. Siris, hexing doesn't work either on GC because ST fixed the errors from V1&2 with the CK. Plus hexing still can't corrupt you. :/

And finally...
again,Quit posting these if you don't have proof already please.

Ok Corey...I didn't say it was a hex code, I said it wasn't an AR and explained what AR is limited to. How is that wrong? I have no idea if any of this crap is true or not so that's exactly why I did not comment further! Thank you. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Actually, I'm referring to the fact you could NOL and CK with hex on V2

Actually, doing that would only corrupt your guild cards. You wouldn't lose anything character wise.

Damn that corruption code would suck. Still, No Proof means that this is just a nasty rumour, just like the rumour that ST was going to delete all hacked items everywhere, and ban whoever had them.

theres an AR code out that corrupts the AR user's data, but noone uses it, for obvious reasons...

Not like it matters though, seeing as AR mem cards end up deleting themselves eventually.

Sometimes even completely ruining the data to a extent of un-usable.
