Bizzare Donoph based glitch

I was using on of my excavation-only characters to do a retired hunter mission on ultimate, and I found this weird glitch in the last room...
I had done this mission several times already (usually cause Donoph couldn't seem to stop biting the dust to ruin my day) and was fighting a dark bringer in the hall outisde of Dark Falz happy abode. The bringer charged up his beam thing, and nearly simultaneously shot and killed both of us.
Strangely, i woke up in the hospital; which was odd enough, than as she finished talking, i flew out of the hospital and into the hunters guild desk so fast it was almost comical. The woman at the counter said the "you had a rough time" thing, and then i appeared back in the nurse's place, where I clearly saw Donoph standing next to me. That's when the waiting screen appeared and i stood back where the game starts.

Anyways, that was pretty friggin weird when I heard about it. You must show me it.

yeah do you have screen of it? because cause thats pretty messed up, are you legit cause that might be the reason

it isnt a glitch, just something that happens. You failed the mission, and it shows the Guild Counter, then it went back to normal view, where you were still at the hospital.

I am legit, i don't hack cause i don't know how, and the only AR I've used was to Lvl.200 one of my scavenger-excavationist characters...which, was pointless, the character being a pinkal...ugh...But, yeah, I'm sure you could try the glitch on your own. You just need to get killed at the same time.

Well I know when you die on almost any quest, you don't fail, you just are transported back to pioneer 2 med center. Some you do fail though.

I died (donoph didn't, until the very end) on this quest and I was able to continue it.

BUT

Since donoph died, you also failed the quest. Failing the quest brings you back to the hunter's guild, but first the business of your dying had to be resolved. Once your dying procedure was finished, you then underwent the failing procedure.

That's similar to a time when I died on From the Depths and Ash didn't, but I still lost.
