As far as I know, yes, Japan only. Yes it has been asked trillions of billions of millions of times. (or something like that, meh) and there does not seem to be any plans of bringing PSO+ out of Japan. Your only choice if you want it is import.

Why is there no Map on the picture?
I mean there is a Map, but there's no lightergrey background which symbolises the area where you can walk...

I wonder if anyone can tell me the difference in Blue Burst on PC and PSO Ep1&2 on GC, other than the fact it on different systems.

About the map thingy, I believe that it is because that exact part of CCA... does not appear in the map. That simple. It is one of the platforms that can be seen from the normal area, and it does not have map.

The differences between normal EP1&2 and BB? well...

-Server side save. No offline mode.
-Graphics are clearer.
-New area in the future, with new monsters.
-10 new customizable buttons.
-In order to unlock areas, you have to go trough some missions.
-Depending on the mission, players may be able to join in the middle of it.
-When requesting the data of the team, Time of team creation appears (JP time), as well as the quest name if the team is making a quest.
-The required level for the difficulties has been increased.
-Creation of teams. Like little communities inside the game, that game real time chat, no matter were the members of the team are (i.e. you could be in ship 1 block 7 and I could be in ship 7 block 1, and we would have real time chat) and also members of a team can send items between them by simple mail.

and right now I can not think of anything else.

v1 and v2 that was on dc was also on pc... and for gc they created them together... as well a xbox... then there is pso+ and psobb is the new one right now in beta test... there is also a rumour about what to call the psounivers one that appeared at E3
