Mag Stat Question

If I raise a mag strictly for power. What will it's power be when it reaches level 200?

The highest you can get power is 186.

Actualy, by using the warning that the guide starts with to your advantage you can get POW up even further. I've never tried it, as it is painstakingly slow. Maybe someone that has can post how much it got him.
Also, if you have SYSTEM MAG cell (look in the guides for the one you need to use on a baby MAG)you can make it POW 195. But that comes at the cost of all Photon Blasts.

Come to think of it, most mags I've seen with 195 POW didn't have Photon Blasts... or maybe I'm thinking of something else. Either way, it shouldn't be a surprise that I don't know that stuff about mags. I've never been a big mag 'breeder' myself.

If it is a system mag, then 195 pow is possible, otherwise it is a hack.

Well, here is a question I have.

When my mag reached level 50 it evolved to a Kaitabha and from there I began giving it nothing else but Sol Atomizers. And while playing last night I gave my mag a few more items and when it reached level 70 it evolved into a Madhu.

My question is, why did it evolve again? I thought that they weren't supposed to evolve again once their past level 50.

The 3rd evolution (at lvl050) isn't final. The shape you get depends on how POW, DEX and MIND are, relative to eachother. Upon reaching 50, your MAG had DEX>POW>MIND, forming Kaitabha.
From 50 on, every 5 lvlz the condition is reevaluated. If a new condition has come to fit your MAG, the shape changes. In your case POW became greater than DEX, which fits Madhu.

Oh, and welcome to PSO-World. If you're really interested in raising MAGs, look up the guides on it. Some tables are a bit off, but still useful. But most of it is just great.
