It's a local thing in the SF Bay Area, a certain radio station switches over into a thematic content called KGAY. "We're here, we're queer, we're in your ear!"

They first did it for April Fool's Day, which was classic. Right now, in celebration of pride day and the parade this weekend, they switched to KGAY for this weekend.

But what does this mean? This means that some of my favorite songs that hardly get any play come back on air! David Bowie, Queen, ABBA, Joan Jett, Culture Club, Soft Cell, Erasure, Garbage, New Order, Cure, Duran Duran, Kinsey 6, Weather Girls, Donna Summer (god, she is the diva), Dianna Ross, Little Richard, Liza Minelli, Barbra, Sylvester, etc. whee! all the fun songs that you wanna dance to!

I just can't wait until they slap on some Judas Priest or some other metal! Whoo hoo! Or maybe that's for the BDSM street fair later on the year...

Are you the "Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen"? Hell yeah! Mamma Mia, sing to me "Chiquitita" one more time!
