Um hello i was wondering when the first katana is made available and what would that weapon be?

Umm, I'm not really understanding your question.

Do you want to buy a katana in the shop? They don't sell them. You'll have to find them. In Episode 1 Redria, you've got crazy-hard drops for 1975 Agito and Sange, both in Ultimate mode of course. Episode 2, there's other agito's in Ult Spaceship. Then Agito (AUW 1991) Vhard Merikle, only feasible if you have online. Or back to Ult with Merillia for that 1991 Agito. So, you've basically got a bad ID for katanas, but they're not all that great anyways. Redria is way cool.

There are ID's that can get Kamui or Sange (the good katanas) pretty easily, but I can't remember them off the top of my head and I'm too lazy to go look for them. I know Viridia can get tons of 'em, though.

Viridia can pipe a kamui from a hildeltorr in the temple and skyly and i think yellowboze can pipe for a sange from a mil lily in ult caves.

Piping only works for offline ONLY. Basically you find a room of Lilies and you telepipe back up to p2 then pipe back down until you get a rare enemy.

The ULT Caves refers to the Caves level on Ultimate difficulty. No good rares are really available until Ultimate (ULT) so just keep leveling and eventually you'll get there.

Also, you can get into Ultimate, the second you can defeat Dark Falz on Very Hard under Singler Player, but you must be strictly Level 80 before you can go into Ultimate Multiplayer.
