A student evaluating one of our university's physics professors said:

My mom is a chemist, and Dr. Dunning told her "Chemistry is a science for those who are not intelligent enough to handle physics. Your daughter will do just fine in chemistry."

Hahahah! Go Dr. Dunning! Never holding back...and always tell it like it is.

I don't like Chemistry very much, but our school's Chemistry department does have two Nobel Prize winners, so I don't know how those two will take that comment since both of their egos have inflated to the point where they need their own parking spots.

Found it!

As far as that goes, let Dr. Dunning say whatever he wants...I still think physics sucks ass. And not cause I cant do it, (I actually got an A- in Physics freshman year, while I got a B in chem) but because the argument between the Nobel Prize winner and him should be fun to watch http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Of course, I'll have to side with chemistry...liquid nitrogen, dry ice, noxious vapors, acids, polymers....chemistry is awesome!

Physics = Chemistry

both great subjects, both got A's

today in my A-Level physics class, we got to swing buckets of water around! We were "investigating the effects of mass, velocity and radius on the force created by circular motion. The equation is Force = (mass x velocity squared) divided by radius.

A-level physics class?

What the hell is an A-level physics class? Is there a C-level one at your school?

Oh and yeah, physics > chemistry, even though I would never major in either.

Well, chemists could devise a way to cure diseases, but we would need physics to transport the cure.

:/

So I agree with the =.

Okay, I'll just leave it alone.
