Hold the phone, Canada has a holiday called Canada Day? That is freaken awesome! I wish I could celebrate with you guys. Um, why is Canada celebrated anyways?

Edit: quite Dangerous. The holiday could have been to celebrate something more. Like winning a war or not allowing USA to invade Canada and become part of US territory like during one of the wars.

I'm probably gonna be slaughtered for this, as my friends say, go american junior! I have to say canada is awesome though. I loved it there when I visited on my school trip. Low prices (high tax x.x), awesome scenery (i loved old quebec. It was awesome! the medieval shop there was awesome), rude drivers (almost got hit like 5 times a day. They seriously don't stop for people in the road! @_@), awesome mcdonalds menu (Double Big Mac! I'm with D55 on this one. Canada is just like America except colder, and 1/10 the population. Of course there are some other minor differences, but msot of them you won't notice.

I actually celebrated C-Day in our capital (Not Toronto >_> ). It was quite interesting, and seeing the fireworks/mounties/Prime Minister/Parliament Buildings did bring out a certain pride i didn't know existed.

Picked up a copy of Mario vs DK for the 7 hour ride back, so it was most likely my best Canada Day yet.
