Quick Question about the Windmill

I just picked up my first Windmill from a mil lily in ultimate temple. My question is, what is it's special and how do I perform it? I read the discription on this page but it didn't help much. with the description, I'm guessing I can only use it outside, but I'm not sure. Is the "energy released" just like that of the berdysh and J-sword? thanks for any help.

I believe you have to have Special attack on your menu, and do a full combo with it.

On the 3rd swing, the blade will fly off, and act like a Slicer.

Eh not quite, you have to do a three hit combo and then you can use the special. Also, the special doesn't act like a slicer, it only hits one enemy.

Yes, it acts more like a handgun. If you leave it untekked, then the special should always be charged and will hit with greater power/accuracy, like the Lavis Cannon.
