The difference between Sange Yasha (640-650 ATP) and Orotiagito (750-800 ATP) is about 100 ATP, i just wanted to know which is more worth it.
The Sange Yasha hits the enemy about 5 times, but Orotiagito gives u more ATP. Which gives more damage?

think about it say orotiagito hit for 500 damage thats 500 X3 so 1500.
And S&Y hit for 350 its 350 X5 so 1750 so scientifically speaking S&Y is stronger. But orotiagito has a long range attack

I already have Sange, so maybe Sange Yasha is better, thanks a lot! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Later on, more hits generally has a greater factor than an ATP difference, since as your character's natural ATP rises, the ATP difference between various weapons will matter less and less.

Of course, percents have a greater influence on weapons with more ATP, so really it depends on percents and other factors as well.

However, if you're actually planning on searching for Yasha, you may be there a while...^_^ The drop rate is something ridiculous...

I would go for Asuka if you like twin swords - It's a lot easier to find, and the ATP difference between it and Sange&Yasha is insignificant.

Since more hits are better (depending on the ATP difference) so Double Cannon should be better then Sange Yasha and Orotiagito, because it hits 6 times and it gives the same damage as Sange Yasha aprox.

To get a Double Cannon u'll need about 2 Syncestas and a Lavis Cannon. Are the chances of getting them really small?? If it is, i think i'll go with the Asuka then... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

P.S.: I'm a Skyly and i can get the Syncesta with Baranz (in Mines) and the Lavis Cannon with Del D.(in ruins)

That can take you months.

The easiest and fasteest way to get a Double cannnon is often:
Raise a Redria to Ultimate, pipe Pouilly Slimes for the Lavis Cannon (1/22).
Raise an Oran to Ultimate, pipe Forest Hildetorrs for Syncesta (1/22).

The Skyly Baranz Syncesta has a 1/11k+ chance. The Skyly Lavis Cannon is at least that painful.

Also, the Yasha is an insanely tough item to get (1/60k+ from Viridia Melqueeks or 1/28k+ from Skyly Temple Belra).

If your offline anyway, it is a rather average rare item hunt online, it was for me anyway.

Orotiagito is quite inferior to the S&Y, almost in any situation, unless you have insanely low ATA...which should not be a problem, correct?

I'm not online anymore, because everyone moved to PSO III. So it may take a little bit longer.

I have both, Sange Yasha and Orotiagito. I personaly perfer my Asuka over Sange and Yasha, though they are nice looking. As for my Orotiagito, its ok. I don't use it at all, unless I'm going into V.Hard along side my friends character because I can take out creatures with it fairly easily. Otherwise, IMHO, they're nice weapons to have, but I don't like using them. I prefer my Combats, Meteor Cudgel, Flowens Sword (3084), and Asuka over them.

I'm going to find an Asuka then. I think i can get it with a Canune.

So I've been wasting my time with Orotiagito? I've been hunting it for a year and a half and with over 13,000 Tollaw notches on my Demolition comet and no Agito 1975 I found out that even though it's got the 2nd highest ATP rating of any weapon in the game (2nd to Dark Flow) it's really not even worth it?

I hate this game...

But I love to hate it http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I think that Orotiagito is better then Dark Flow, because Dark Flow is almost impossible to get (it has 0.00% of finding it), it doesn't have a combo and her special attack leaves u with almost nothing of HP, so after u use it, u die http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
It wasn't THAT waste of time...

essentially, just add how many times you hit with a particular item X the ATP (or in game, how much you hit for).

Example.. lvl 96 HUcast, me. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif using lvl 200 mag and a 50% hit charge vulcans with 0% on all stats except hit. If I hit 9 times with the charge vulcans, (when ATA is higher), using the special 9 times, hitting for 500 each hit without S/D against Sil dragon, it'd be 500 x 9 = 4500 per combo....as where I wouldn't even begin to be able to hit that much with say, twin swords, of any type.

with a PB combo'd S/D and the situation above, the charge vulcans+9 hit for 800 X 9 depending on critical, the critical is 1000 or so.

7200 hp per combo.

mind you... this character has absolutely no hacked items/weapons/units/mags.

Well in my opinion drop rates are bs and it all comes down to luck.
Also in my opinion.
Asuka with % > S&Y
Demo with % > BKB, DC, MC
etc.
Except the others are of course nicer to have...*kills Shar for getting legit DC*

DC with 100% in 3 fields (photon drop to get percents) > all
Or s-Rank Twin w/ spirit > all+1

Wouldn't Sange&Yasha be easier to get percents on, since you can pipe Sanges from Cave Mils?
I'm probably missing something -_-

Mix, you still would have to get the yasha. -_-;;

Mixfortune meant that Sange & Yasha would be easy to get decent %'s easy by having a Sange with decent %'s to equip with to create a Sange & Yasha, than creating it with a Yasha equipped because as a Sange is much easier to get from Mils like Mixfortune said, you can get a lot of Sanges easy and go for the one with the best %'s to create a Sange & Yasha with a Yasha (so as a Yasha is much harder to obtain, you won't have to worry about its %'s when finally got one). Having a Sange equipped that contains great %'s, create it with a Yasha (doesn't matter what %'s it has) and when a Sange & Yasha is created, the %'s of a Sange will pass over as it is the one equipped if equipped.

As Jason said, only one of the two pieces has the percents carry over. From what I seem to remember hearing in the past, the weapon you have equipped is the one that keeps the percents. Given SJ's post along with the the assumption that you already have Yasha (making the Asuka/S&Y comparasion applicable in the first place), it would be easier I think to obtain a highly percentaged Sange than a highly percentaged Asuka, especially since you can pipe 9 caves Mils.

lain2k3
Jul 6, 2004, 09:48 PM
I know all that. if you had the yasha, sure, S&Y is easier for percents, but you need the yashato combine your 65 hit sange with. Asuka is still easier to get percents on, because it is THAT much easier to get.

Mixfortune
Jul 6, 2004, 09:49 PM
That is true, but I was responding in point to SJ's comparasion of "Asuka with % > S&Y", since it already uses the given that you have a Sange and Yasha to begin with. That's what I was referring to. Sorry for the confusion.
