GC-Item: Rifles-Strange Range

I've been doing some Ult Caves runs with my Viridia RAmarl, and it turns out that my trusty Drain Beam is my best friend there. However, while doing these runs, the Vulmers and Govulmers charge, of course, and my Beam has the speed to hold them back. I have noticed that, between the max Rifle range, and about 5-15 feet from the user, there is a space within Rifle range where the Rifle will ALWAYS miss. I have seen this happen about 10-20 times now, and was wondering if this has happened to anybody else.

Also, I've not tested it out on the Obs and Mils because of Megid. It might happen only with charging enemies, too. I'll test it out in the Forest.

EDIT: It happens in the forest as well. I think we have a glitch that we have to just live with on our hands.

No, not a glitch. you can hit them with enough ata, and i mean a lot of it. Enemies Evp takes a huge leap when they first start moving, and range from target does also have a small effect on accuracy.

And I think we have another candidate for banning on our hands.

Get a better weapon!!!! Seriously, even though you can find some pretty damed good rare-ish normal 9 Starred weapons, a really good rare rifle will aide you better through your journey of Ultimate. Try hunting for something, even if its one of the three rifle, Justy, Wals or whatever the 3rd one was.

Get a frozen shooter, it's a great Rifle. it can freeze an enmey from a long distant, which works pretty well.
and i love my frozen shooter.

ATA has everything to do with you hittting those advancing bastards.

I have noticed, tho, like on TTF caves, room 3 with the third wave, I hit everything with my first round of my shot , but cannot hit the next round until they are right on me (discounts claim of "never missing - doesn't it?).

So, freeze the fuckers - you'll hit 'em.

SJ, I have a Pinkal on Hard, Skyly still on normal, and the RAmarl in question is Viridia and obviously in Ultimate.

Hard and VH skyly will get you plenty of 9* rifles, use them for a bit.

Well, I thought at least one of those three had some Draw-type special, but they don't, so I'll keep my Drain Beam for its special, and grab whichever Rifles I can, upgrading as I go. I think the Visk looks fairly cool, though, I've seen it in Ep3.

I already have a God/Power, and I'm looking for a better Rifle already, by 1. Leveling up my Skyy so she can get into Hard mode, and 2. Finding some better Laser for my RAmarl, for use until I get a Visk, or whichever one of those I find first. How many God/Powers do you think I'll need? (I have a four-slot Ultimate Frame)


EDIT: I already have a Red Saber, as well, max grinded, like all the weapons I use.

Do you think I should pipe myself another God/Power? Here are my units: God/Power, Ogre Power++ (will be replaced when I find another God/Power), Elf/Arm++, Elf/Legs++. Are those good units until I find God versions of them, or should I get different kinds of units (i.e. Body instead of Legs, or something like that)?

Use more */arm units, the evp one wont help at all. Ogre/power does basically nothing as well. god/power and another elf/arm.

when ur Skyly reaches vh you can easily get a god hp which could replace the legs.
A god pow might help you but if I were you Id go for the god hp 1st.
God Arm might be a good idea 2..

Ok, then, I'm all set, I think. So, I'm leveling my Skyly Hunewearl so she can find me some rifles in Hard/Vhard, and I'm snagging some new units. That pretty much sums it up. Thanks for the help!

If twinking means to give them stuff they don't normally find that is better than what they could find, but they can still use, then I twink with my HUnewearl. She has a Drain Pallasch with 50% Machine and 35% Hit, so Mines runs are easy!

When it comes to Falz, I'm usually ok as long as I have a couple Resist/Saints on, a God/Body, and God/HP. After that, he's not so bad. Outside of that boss battle, I carry a Devil/Battle, God/HP, God/Body and Resist/Devil or God/Arm. My Rati has 50 towards DEX, so I've never really had a hard time with ATA, except with Mechguns without a Hit %. Luckily for me, my Combats have a 65% on Hit.

My HUnewearl has a Devil/Battle, also. No God Units for her, though. (Yet) What units do you recommend for her? She only has three slots on her current armor right now, but I can change that, I've got an Addslot.

Yep, that would do fine as well. Sorry, forgot to add that one to the list. I only use one when I'm not using a Resist/Devil (in areas where there is no threat of Megid).

Well, whats your base ATA? In all actuality, a God/Arm only adds 15 to your ATA, so if your ATA is high enough, its not really good for anything unless you need that extra ATA boost to use a certain rare rifle or handgun. I never needed an Arm unit because the 50 towards my DEX on my Rati mag gave me enough ATA to not really need that extra ATA boost. So yeah, whats your base ATA?

Yeah, go for it. From the sounds of it, your character is at a low level at well. That 15 towards ATA will help you a lot!

God/Body on Falz? That's just a waste of a slot..

The only thing that uses physical attacks on you are those little Daravant things..(sp?), and Falz's last form's Claw Swipe has a set amount of HP it takes, to 4 God/Body units would be useless there.

Get some God/HP (Or Dragon, they work well too), and Resist/Evil/Saints..they're real nice.

That's just for his last form..

Other forms though, some Ice/Fire resistance would be good, so his mutated Rabarta/Rafoie don't slaughter you.

Ummmm, k. No one ever said anything about having 4 God/Body units. Besides, I was just suggesting what I use against Falz, and also, because LoreSeeker mentioned something about the fight with Falz, so I was responding to his post. Yeah, but my base ata, without it, is 176 I believe, so I haven't really found a use for it. I RARELY miss with anything, unless I'm trying to do all Hard attacked in a combo. But I don't do that, so I'm good.

That's okay. My HUnewearl's base ATA's 80 now, she leveled up. I got down to 1 experience pt. left, waited for 10 minutes or so, then leveled up.
