Can I only find the weapons where it is listed with that ID or can I find it with any ID, anywhere in Ultimate?

Yeah..you can only find certain rares on certain IDs.

Well...rare weapons can be found only by certain id's if it says so in the guides, however, I read the small print and it says that it was only confirmed to be found by those section id's. There still might be a chance of finding it, but I wouldn't count on it. I've got a heck of a time finding the rares as it is! >^.^<

That particular guide covers ultimate drops, which should be 95% of anything you would ever need. There are hard and very hard drop guids on that site as well, and those are in the same format. That list was obtained by viewing the game's code, I believe, and is therefore very accurate.

Each enemy has a set rare drop for an Episode and Difficulty. It does not vary (the exception being Photon Drops which are dropped by everything).
