red handgun or bringers rifle

I am a FOmar and i was wondering if i should use bringers rifle or red handgun. Since red handgun is stronger(only about 11), i was thinking that i might use that.(also i already have one)But bringers rifle has about 13 more ata. But i dont have one.

Bringer's Rifle has the range and the added ATA, which is far more useful than a mere couple points of damage.

BTW, Do you actually mean Futile, as in "no use" in your location, or do you mean "Fedual" as in the time of Samurai, Warlords, and the like?

Bringer's Rifle is better for a FOmar, unless the Red Handgun has Hit%.

And Holy Ray > Bringer's Rifle, particularly for melee FOrces, heh.

Xaos, just so you know, that page is incorrect. HUnters can't use Bringer's Rifle at all, only RAngers and FOrces can use it.

I just remembered. Dr. Montague is using a Bringer's Rifle in the quest Soul of Steel. So that's proof right there that forces can use it.

Somebody should fix the Bringer's Rifle item database page.

Holy Ray has a great chance of Paralysis. Bringer's rifle cuts enemy hp in half. Personally, I like Holy Ray because of the kewl holy spear animation attack. Don't get me wrong, Bringer's Rifle animation shot is pretty kewl, but Holy Ray is kewler to me.

The main reason Holy Ray is better than Bringer's Rifle is that it's much more accurate. And, since Holy Ray isn't made from an enemy part, it can have Hit, thus making it even MORE accurate. And virtually all melee FOrces need as much ATA as possible.

Also, Holy Ray doesn't lower your evasion, and can be found as early as Ultimate Forest, or in Ultimate Caves.

Bringer's Rifle is slightly stronger, and has a better special. However, Demon's is highly innacurate, especially on a FOrce.

i dont plan on using the special anyways(its to inaccurate on a FOmar) so i guess that i will try to get a Holy ray(even though it looks kinda feminish.)

The only character that I have that has used Holy Ray was my inaccurate FOmar and the paralysis still had a pretty good chance of hitting...
