Oran or Whitill?

I'm probably going to delete my FOnewearl (I just do not like playing FOrces) and replace her with either a Whitill or an Oran HUnewearl. Of all the characters I've played, I like her self-sufficency the best as I am 100% offline. I've done my research and have narrowed it down to these two sec. IDs.

[all I'm looking for are some well-rounded opinions regarding which is better for my situation]

I'd go with oran, only because whitill gets slicers, and I hate slicers x.x. Oran can get a wide varity of swords too, which is helpful for a hunter.

Only if you like double sabers. The only one stronger is a fully grinded BKB.

Hmm... and whitill has a reasonable chance of actually finding a Monkey King Bar in Episode II...

All I'd need after that is a blue-black stone, correct? And to get that I'd have to go online and gamble all my Photon drops (I've got about 75 of them).

Well, I'm not going online anytime soon and since MKB sucks (unless you're online and can get BKB) I'm thinking Oran sounds even better...

Personally, I really hate whitill. I only have it for the Rico's items. There are too many monsters whose rare drops are Diska of Braveman.

Whitill is a great ID, not much in the Swords category, but it has a pipable Red Partisan (Pal Rappy), and Slicers are highly underestimated (a Diska of Braveman with hit% can tear through bosses in next to no time). Also, Whitill is the only ID that finds both Guld and Milla.

Ruins for Whitill is an insane area to play, with almost no bad drops.

Oran has Syncesta and pipable Aura Field.

i made an Oran Hunewearl about a month ago.. Although shes still in her early levels, her drops arent too bad.. Like ketchup said, aura fields are a 1/2 drop... check out the drop charts from ign and compare the drops for both... Its pretty much up to what you plan on hunting down.

Your redria has a much better chance off of dolmolms, 1/1050, and if I'm not mistaken it's an online only moster that drops MKB for whittil.

Oran's not a bad ID, but I like Whitill more.

Like Ketchup said, pipeable Red Partisan is godly, and it has many other good points as well. Many Slicers, including the exclusive and sexy Flight Fan, are really good with some Hit to them.

It also finds a good amount of Mechguns, which are also good with Hit.

Whitill's exclusive finds are nice too; Rico's Earring is great for high-level females, and it finds both Guld and Milla (I forget which is exclusive...oh well).

If you like daggers, and I mean really like daggers go with Oran. If you like a variety of items go with Whital. I have a char 155 that i an oran, a real suck job section ID. Whital gets almost all the red weapons, variety of armors and shields.

All I've ever gotten from my oran, plenty of different types of daggers, http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif and none of which I ever use.

This is what i would do, go to special weapons, go to bloody arts, and look at how many this drop that damn weapon fot oran. Almost everything drops them. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif
