What brought you to/back to PSO?

What style of play do you get the most out of?

Are you a hard core c-moder - got to get the best TA for every stage? Or just a casual c-moder because that's cool too.

Are you a battle God - got a record of 1250+ wins against 0 losses?

Are you the ultra rare hunter - pokemon not enough so now you gotta catch 'em all on PSO?

Are you an offliner only - no chance of being corrupted if you don't venture online?

Are you motivated to create the best ever Hucast, Fonewm, Ramarl...and so on - got to get THE character that everyone acknowledges is the best of the best of the best, sir!?

Are you simply attracted to random acts of violence - bad day at work = a lot of monsters are dying tonight!?

Do you do it for the social life - role playing where you can keyboard, voice mask, live chat...or not? Replace your daily school and/or work life with a chance to be something else for those brief moments?

Do you do it because you are a prisoner in your room/life and short of watching the paint peel off your walls, the only "sanity" you enjoy is playing uber man online - ala "Misery," Kathy Bates has you tied to the bed and your only hope is to find that hidden room in the ruins that might be your portal to the outside world?

Or are you just a fanatic of "Burning Ranger" and other songs sung by Japanese artists and you play so that you can hear PSO music over...and over....and over again?

I love c-mode, TA,live chat, social interaction, rpg'ng, rare hunting, 'spect from others, escapism and the concept of taking a character from level 0 to 200 and making it the best possible character that it can be.

What about the casual C-moder? XP

C-mode, being a support WHOrce and Lost Soul Blade/EN4/East or West Tower with friends are the only things worth doing on PSO, IMO. But I'm not a hardcore TAer. XP

As tempting as the Kathy Bates option was, I chose "escape from life" as it's the most appropriate. I know what you mean. Sometimes I think Sitka Blue D is like my best friend - pretty sad I know.

But you definitely get attached to these characters.

My wife was watching me create my new stylin' FOnewm as I played with the various combinations to come up with the best looking elf I could make (Cu'Chullain actually looks pretty cool - nods to Sir FOnewm), she commented as to how it reminded her of playing dress up as a young girl.

The comment did not receive much of a response.

Rare hunting and Forest to Falz runs are my bag. I love Ep.1 , Tower runs are pretty killer to.

Well, until I tried Open Beta for BB, I was offline only, and I mainly kept playing so I could hunt down powerful, cool-looking new weapons and things.

I mainly keep playing for leveling up and getting Red Boxes.

Cmode sounds fun, I'll give that a go when it comes out on BB (provided I can convince my dad to pay for BB. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif)

Well I did vote, that I want to find every weapon and armor possible, but at the same time I play as a hobby and offline only, but I play with my nephew and some of is friend and it is a lot of fun!!
We show each other new stuff we find, we trade item and informations.
We never did try the C-mode so far, cause we seem to never have the time first and that we still on a frenzy of getting beter item and higher lvl than the other lol

I think the best part of my PSO life is that my RAmarl's about 70-80 lvls higher than my friend's best character, and the red boxes. Can't forget those.

I play cause I'm bored...and I love the game. But the worst part for me is when I'm not playing and I do something that reminds me of something I did in the game and I try to explain it to my friends (the few I have). Them being non-gaming girls....they don't really comprehend and like to stare at me like I'm some sort of alien....0.o;

yea, i love the roleplaying. xD guess it's a form of escapism. i get kind of attached to my characters as well, creating characters is really cool.
hm, the rare stuff is kinda fun as well i guess..
i'm not yet that great at c-mode, haven't done battle online yet. u_u my lvl's improving i guess, but still the social interaction and chat is the most fun.

oh ya, i like burning rangers as well. lol, i learned the lyrics by heart. but i guess i dont need pso for it anymore, found it for pc at last.
