the Lavis weapons is there a story behind them or what why were they made who made them. Who or what is "Lavis".

As for what Lavis is, you know how the deathless gods who sit on Mount Olympus drink nectar and eat ambrosia? OK, Lavis is better than that.

From a rumor I heard back when version 1 came out, the Lavis Cannon was initially a prize given to 3 people for doing some sort of quest or something like that. Then they got duped and spread around.

Of course, looking at the item findings, for the DC/PC it's listed in VHard Bluefull and Whitill Chaos Bringers. So it's just a rare item.

A lot of the weapons and items in PSO are related in some way to items from the earlier Phantasy Star games, but there are some which are just thrown in for the heck of it, or were added newly in order to have something "original" out of it.

I heard that Lavis Cannon, Psycho Wand, and Heaven Punisher were the prizes give to the Winners of The Famitsu Cup (I think that's right) on V1. I think the winner got to choose between the 3.

Psycho Wand I remeber from PS4. It's a wand that can break the magic barrier used by Zio. Other than that its a crap weapon that is useless to Rune.

Oh it does other stuff too. It boosts his mind more than any other weapon I've found for him (and he shouldn't be hitting stuff with a weapon http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rant.gif his techs are so much stronger). I seriously doubt it. Elsydeon is the best sword in PS4. Elysion flat sucks. Plus Elysion and Elsydeon are only slightly similar in spelling. I think the Elysion has something to do with the Elysion fields (the part of the classical underworld where good people went, Hades' Heaven of sorts) since they have the exact same spelling.
