I've been having problems staying connected to PSO for around 3 weeks now.
I thought it was my Comcast internet connection, and had them come out and work on my line (+ new splitter & modem). The problem persists, and I don't have problems with any of my other games (I have around 13 Live titles.)
My PSO disk is new, and has no scratches at all.
My XBOX is around 2 years old - a Thompson. (The only other game I have lockup problems with is Morrowind, not surprising.)
I was wondering if the problem had to do with the PSO servers? I was connected fine until the PSO server for my region (?) went down for a few days, right before the time I started having problems.
I've lost a few good rare weapons that weren't equipped, because the disconnects happened while bursting (either that or I'm running into that glitch.)
I live in Marylnad.
