Set rare enemy chances?

I was just wondering if there are set chances for a rare enemy appearing. Or are there any theories on rare enemies such as they appear according to beat time or something.... thanks to anyone who knows.

its been sadi to be 1/512 but many say it is nearer to 1/400

So 2 Mils in 1017 Obs, averaging to about 1/508.5
I'm not saying the actual rate is 1/508.5, but I'm using that to show that averages don't always mean what they seem.

Sorry, misread your post.
But, the average does sort of seem in your favor at the moment.

Main point still stands though... the average is just a guideline for how often you can sort of expect the occurence. Could be another ten thousand Obs before you see another Mil, and the average could still be the same.

Yep... I know. But the weirdest thing about this all is that on Thursday I piped for under an hour using about 60 pipes in all and found 4 Mil Lilys.... still no Dem Comet though...

its been sadi to be 1/512 but many say it is nearer to 1/400 The ones that say it is 1/512 are the ones that have ripped apart the games files and looked at them. They know for a fact it is 1/512. The people that say 1/400 have not done this and are guessing. You can guess which number is more accurate.

Sou herself said that the chance seemed to be closer to 1/400. The 1/512 was just a rough first estimate.

We don't have a proven rare average from the data yet.

I've piped over 40 rare enemies, and the 1/500 seems to be pretty close to correct. Now, I know thats not very many. Many people have piped that many for 1 item, but thats just my 2 cents.

Dpending what ids you're using, you cou;d be under the expected rate...

ids dont have an effect on the rare enemy appearance rate. stop spreading false information
