the greatest thing just happened to me!! I had just gotten home, checked my email, and this is what i got:

"Hi Andrea,

I stumbled across your website the other day while I was surfing through darklinks and I really like your art work - I especially liked your Goth Gurls. My husband and I are starting up a local company from scratch - we're calling it Demonica Press and hope to eventually publish aspiring independent artists of all forms. For now we're putting out a small "zine" entitled Corrupting Youth" and I would REALLY like to use your Goth Gurls on the cover. SO - I guess I should tell you a little more huh? As of now we are distributing CU free of charge but we have high hopes that eventually the company will make some money. I'm 23 years old, been close friends with the internet for about 5 years and July will be our first issue. We are based in Victoria, B.C. Canada, are designing a Demonica Press website - if you agree to let us use you art for the cover - we would like to put you in our Featured Artist section as well, list you email and website address and info from your site. I have done charity exhibitions where i actually had to PAY to be in the exhibition. The whole thing was really rewarding.

I know what your doin, my sister is "artist" she likes doing that stuff, she aint that bad. She been in one show and got a scholorship(that spelling was just shot int he face with a 44)from MAHS, our high school.

im just really excited that they asked me first, out of tons of artists that are online. Art is a great job though!! Get to pick my hours... i can stay in my PJ's all day and paint, or just stay up super late sketching. It's a blast. Plus i'm finally making enough to move out of my parents house, BIG PLUS!!

Yeah for awhile I did go out to the real world and it kicked my ass. So many things happened!!

The whole month of february i had to go to court because i finally filed a restraining order against this -BOY- who had been bothering me obsessively. Spent HOURS at court, then finally had my court date on february 13th, where i was granted a 1 year restraining order against him. MWAHAHA!!

That was so cool because he had me scared to death, and i finally got to stand up to him, and the judge also kicked his ass for interrupting me while i was speaking.

Last night they mailed me back with a whole bunch of questions.. it felt odd.

Also its pretty cool cos it sounds like that magazine will be more youth-oriented.

I'm part of this self representing artists organization online, and i'm the youngest one in it. Most of them are in their 50's and it feels kind of weird.
