Deneb 9 going to pots.

Is it just me? is is Deneb 9 going down. what the hell is with the dam spammers there, the dam non-legits, the dam mother-fukkin-asswipes. Why the fuck cant they stay at vega? a new only legit ship/block needs to be found, so we can get the fuck away from the shit at deneb 9.

I've always viewed Deneb 9, not as the legit block, but as the IGN block (At least that was the case back in the day). Just so happened a lot of the IGN people are legit (Under the iron-fist rule of ADE, hehe). I used to go there to play just because most people there were legit (But not all).

You are forgetting that n00bs are like the African Killer Bees: They take over native nests and inbreed, eventually driving the natives away. They also attack other hives to inbreed even more. Eventually, the native bees (or in this case, legit players) are completely wiped out.

It works like this for Games, Forums, Chat Rooms, etc. It cannot be stopped, and there is nothing we can do.

Deneb 9 was good until those KKK Knight spammers came yesterday. I FSODd twice when I was there this morning becasue of their spamming of one of the Cmode set phrases. I've personaly moved to Altair 2 since, even though it has Gwimmel. (who's harmless compared to the KKK Knghts)

Apparently nobody remembers Antares. That would show you the ignorance, idiocy, and self-servance far better than Deneb ever has. Heck, there were set times where people would argue, every day. Though, I have to say, I prefer not to go to any of those busy places, none of the people I play with go there anyways. Just be glad you didn't get online before Antares was big and the only real US blocks were Vega 1-3... Ugh, that was definitely.. sucky... D;

YOu really don't know what bad means if you view that block as bad.

Firstly you can meet a lot of good legit players on that block in open games. Try seeing a legit player ever on dc let alone in an open game on a popular ship.

sure some muppet the other day spent 3 hrs using the same symbol chat over and over on a turbo pad or summit which was annoying but who cares anyone whos been around as long as me is glad at least 1 ship is semi decent

And I always avoided Deneb 9 like the plague, mostly because of fscktards like ADE and Jolt who were complete whiny douchebags. Even after they disappeared I never went there. I just lived on Altair 4 and sometimes Altair 9. XP

Sadly Deneb 9 was the only place i knew of to find legit players that are almost on 247. I just checked it out a moment ago and it is completely void of life.
