Pirates of Gal Da Val: Legend of the Red Ring

-First chapter: Whirlpool

The Green Sapphire rocked back and forth lightly in the dank waters near Gal Da Val island. Onboard, most of the crew was swabbing the decks. The wooden surface was creaking with each rock and step. Fog limited thier view to only a few feet in front of them, so there was an occasional bump or knock into another pirate onboard. One pirate stopped to wipe his brow, only to have a smut magazine smack against his forehead. Looking up from where it came from, he saw the lookout man looking down, then quickly moving back to act like nothing happened. The pirate placed the magazine in his back pocket and continued to wipe down the dirty floor.
A RAcast was carrying boxes of wine and various other alcohols around, setting them in different places so that the others could clean those areas. The wood let out a large creek from underneath of him each time he took a step, for he was noticeably heavier than the other crew members. His red armor gave him an advantage, as being more visible than other people in the fog. Grabbing onto several boxes of Vodka they pillaged from a ship earlier, he took several steps backwards before he tripped over a somewhat raised board. He fell back, and the floor gave way, the RAcast smashing though it. The boxes of Vodka smashed to the ground, loud shattering noises ringing in the air. The RAcast looked up from on his back, and painfully let out a light chuckle. The pirates who heard the crash came and looked down the hole. One young pirate called out to the RAcast.

"H-7, you alright?" The boy asked. His voice echoed throughout the dark room that H-7 fell into. H-7 was about to say something, when another Pirate called down.

"Big Red! Ye best be preparing to walk the plank, you just destroyed the cap'ns supply!" He snarled. H-7 knew he was in trouble. He got up and tried to jump out, but the floor underneath of him started to creek. The others yelled at him to stop before he broke though the floor again. He sat on a random box, pondering his punishment. The other pirates returned to their posts. One old pirate came up to a young man who just joined the crew. The young man's youthful spirit was usually a change, but today he was silent. The old pirate came up to the front of the boy.

"Yer quiet today, youngin. Anythin' eatin ya?" He asked. The boy set his mop down.
"No, not really. Just not feelin? quite like myself today, ya know?" The boy responded quietly. The old man?s eyes widened.

"...arr...all this bad luck and poor moral can only mean one thing...The curse of the Red Ring is close by..." The boy looked at the old man curiously when he said this.
"...C...curse?" He asked, his tone becoming weary.

"Aye, curse. Legend has it, that somewhere around Gal Da Val, a young lass named Rico had lost her infamous Red ring. It was legendary, as was she. She disappeared, but her ring was still around. Many treasured it, but no one could find it. One day, a pirate came along the ring, stuck on a rock near the island. He wore it, and he became seemingly unstoppable. A god among men. But he soon perished, and the men of his own ship mutinied for the ring. The first mate got it, but they killed him too. Some of the pirates agreed that the ring would belong to the last person alive on the ship, and ever since then It has been locked in the brig. They say the ship is still floatin? along, its crew almost at war with each other for the ring. The ship is the Black Pear. *eerie music cues* That ship is rumored to be the fastest ship in the seas. And-" The man was cut off by the Captain, who came up to them.

"The Black Pear ain't got shit on this baby." He said, drunkenly stumbling to them, placing his hand on the rim of the ship. A few pieces of wood creaked, and one snapped and fell down. The two men looked at the Captain. He struggled to keep his balance.

"Cap'n Tristan, we've got a minor loss on your private stash of Russian Import Vodka. H-7 took quite the nasty spill though the floorboards over there." The old pirate said. Tristan nodded.

"Yes, I know. The monkey told me." He replied, pointing off in the distance. The two men looked, but saw nothing. They turned to him again, but he wasn't there. Tristan drunkenly struggled over to the wheel, throwing up once he got there. He started noticing the fog, and pulled himself up onto the wheel, yelling out.

"TURN OFF THE FUCKIN FOG MACHINE! THAT GOT OLD MONTHS AGO!" The men heard this, and went over to a wooden box and flipped a switch. In a few moments the fog disappeared. "THANK YOU!" He moved back and started tilting the wheel to the right, and cried out, "HOLD ON, MOVING STARBOARD!" Tristan leaned against the wheel, falling asleep to the feeling of the fresh air beating against his face.

From a distance, two men on lookout on the coast saw the Green Sapphire and watched for a half an hour. One turned to the other.

"You know...that ship's been going in circles for a long, long time. Think we should send someone out there?" The other guy shook his head.

"Nah, no need. We should get this on tape, though. I'm sure it'll go well on 'Ragol's funniest home holovids'."

-End Chapter One.

Nice. A spoof of Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl? Keep it going.
