Aww, how adorable. And insulting. Someone in my class thought it would be cute to set a Hidden attribute on all the files on my USB flash drive while I was out of the room.

...I do that kind of shit myself to annoy people, did he really think I was going to be convinced he'd deleted my stuff? First thing I did was check the drive properties. Ah, yep, 210MB used, time to show hidden files and folders and unhide them all. XP

If you're gonna fuck with me, do it properly and don't insult my intelligence while you're at it. XP

Ok, that sucks. But are you releasing steam, or challenging someone to mess with you?

In highschool someone put a library book in my bag pack, so when I walked out the alarm went off. They made me take out all my stuff out, and tried to blame me for attempted theft. I knew who it was too.

Saw him later that day at the Wherehouse, where I casually slipped a music CD into his backpack, then I went to one of the employees and told him that the kid in the red backpack was suspicious looking. So he kept an eye on him. As he walked by the sensors the alarm went off. By this time I was outside in the parking lot. And ten minutes later, the police arrive, and Mr. Popular make fun of me, was riding in the back seat.

Releasing steam. It's not so much that he did it, but that he actually thought he could fool me with it. I find that incredibly insulting. >_>;

I am so seriously gonna try that now! So many people to get back at for shit, so little time. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_evil.gif

There are so many people in the world who pull that crap because they think they're funny. The reality is they're morons who are better off shot. Just wait until the reality of life hits em and they'll be asking if you want fries with your order because theyt were fired from their good job by pulling crap like that.

That's fucking classic. Congrats on the wonderful payback; that fool won't be messing with you again, if he has any intelligence at all (which may actually be unlikely, based on his previous actions... the past predicts the future, they say). http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Ummmm, wouldn't it be funny if a teacher did that. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

That happened at my school once. This keyboarding teacher and one of his students didn't get along. So one day while school was closed to "students only", the teacher thought he'd be crafty and delete all that students classwork files, thinking he'd be able to fail him. Turns out the parents got pissed and he was allowed to make up all that work. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Yeah, but anyway......it would have probably ticked you off if they did "really" delete your files, so be glad they only "hid" them. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Wouldn't they suspect you of putting it there in the first place, for tipping them off ?

Hey, its America, no? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif America is the definition of all goodness and strangeness.

But seriously, that kid's a jerk-off... should've known that you're into Java and all, maybe even C++... hidden items and whatnot, blargh!

I use a Mac here in Korea... The others in my grade take me for some computer genius just because of this, and I've noticed the deficiency of computer education in this school. 1~6 grade is Reader Rabbit and typing, and then 7, 8, is Microsoft office. Finally, 9~12 you have the option of taking Java, Computer graphics basics, business application typing (what?!), and finally an independent study of C++.

So I know basically what you can do with this stuff, and then the kids think of me as a computer God. They try to see if I am really the 'legend,' and try inserting a zip disk in with all the files hidden.

DUH. This happens in the Mac.

They try to install a virus on it.

DUH. The computer catches it with Norton!

They try to change my password on the school server.

No. I change their's using Gator software to see THEIR passwords.

Damn straight. I should wait for him to abandon his laptop, put whatever files he's been working on into a password-protect .zip file and delete the originals and make him have to force the password out of me. >.>

And he said he thought about deleting them, but he knew I'd kill him if he did. >_> Smart boy.

Seriously thats one of the reasosn I never fuck about with ppl who are not stable. Also the reason in am incredibly paraniod whenever I have a backpack on in a cd store

Same here. Its good that some stores require it of all customers to hand over a bag or what not, brought in for whatever reason, for holding. Store policies based on this are good. Please do hold my bag of work realted things while I shop. Peace of mind for both you and I is that simple.

Its bad when you go into a store and someone singles you out to bring your bag up for checking in when it is not store policy to do so.
Happened when I went into a store to get some film developed. I took out the film from my backpack while waiting in line.
Some lady goes over the loudspeaker to hand my bag over. What a bitch.
I go to that store now with a bag sometimes and it hasn't happened since.

Edit:
oops, no disrespect Ian. Sorry to not be on topic. please forgive me. On topic(sorta): USB Flash drives pwn. I overpaid for a small one $15/16MB when I can purchase maybe a $35 to 40/128MB. and then there's the "shibby" 256 MB ones! hmmm.....!

I have yet to look for one that big and I just posted some prices seen in store ads and the stores themselves around here in person.

$29.99 ain't bad, it ain't bad at all.
Now what would I use that memory for anywho...

My 16 MB junker is so obsolete its not even funny!

Where the fuck do you shop? They sell for about $50-60 usually. We got mine for $40.
