Hello, this is my first post here.

I have a simple question about the game. I just recently started hard mode on Ep.2 and have a ccumulated 5 special weapons so far, and was wondering if I could do anything to change what I get from a drop. This question came from when i got another drop off of a gigobooma in forest. Since i had already gotten a blade dance from a gigobooma, I tried to give it to a newly created whithill to try and change it into a mechgun for my ranger. However, the outcome was still a blade dance when the whithill teched it. Is there any other way to change the drop?

Quite simply no. What drops is what drops. No changing it.

Welcome to PSOWorld.

No you cannot change the basic weapon you find. Have some drop charts (http://faqs.ign.com//articles/393/393635p1.html). These are for Ultimate, if you do some digging you can find them for normal-Vhard as well.

When you tekk an item you can change the percents + or - 10% from the original percents (provided there were any). The element can change on non rare weapons but it stays within the same element class. You can also change the grinder on non-rare weapons. There's a guide here somewhere.

Thank you Quo. Also thank to Eanea for the "blunt" answer, very direct http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yes i saw that guide on tekking, and i think that chart will help me very much later on. One more think though what would be the reccomended level for ultimate?

My recommended level for entering ULT is the level at which you have at least 391 HP. 391 HP is the requirement for surviving DF's Blade Drain attack. Get to ULT as soon as you can. That's where the real game is.

Wouldn't he still die from the grants, quo, if he had 391 hp??

Good Point. By the way, does anyone know how much hp is needed to survive the grants without ANY light resistance??

It depends on what armor, shield, or units you are equipping. But if you mean at how much HP is needed to survive without any light resistance, I don't know and we don't really need to know that.
